Is it just me or has SL been extraordinarily screwed up this week?

Horsing around at Charmed One at Banana Bay. Uncluttered beach surround the sim which is great for horse back riding. Right now you can rez objects but don't know if that will last.

Last night I upgraded one of my alts. She already had a Belleza body from years ago so I just went and got an update. I haven't used Belleza in eons, Elora has the body also but I preferred the Maitreya for her. I also purchased the new Spencer Bento Mesh head for her by Lelutka, which I like a lot. Kind of elfin, cherubic looking which matches my alts style. Anyway, I'm finding that Belleza isn't as seamless as I hoped for which is maybe why I decided not to use it. I can not get the neck fix to work no matter how I try. I'm currently using the Freya shape. Body is set at zero fat, I have the correct appliers being used for the body and head (currently one of the new Glam Affair appliers, America tone). I've changed Windlight to other settings. Played around with preferences and various camera settings. I still see the sheath sticking up from the neck no matter what I do. It isn't like I don't know how to use all of these components but is there something I'm missing? BTW, the same thing happens with my male alt who now is wearing the male Belleza body. Also, if I turn my graphics up past "high" the body looks really wonky and ugly. I never have this with Lara. Is this problem endemic to Belleza? Am I destined to wear clothing which cover the neck area? Help, tips, comments appreciated!

I really like Jian's pets. The ones that wander and attach as a companion are extremely well detailed and the movements are smooth. It's easy to find them on the marketplace or you can go to the store and play their machines and take a chance on getting what you want. Wide assortment of dogs available. I particularly like the Jack Russel Terriers. They also have some cats and other animals. I used to have breedables of various types but really disliked having to spend more money to keep them alive. It was fun for a while but unless you come inworld regularly (which I stopped doing) winding up with a very sick or dying pet is likely.

Skell, I will surely ask you questions! Ghosty and I haven't been on a long vacation in years and we are way overdue. Paris is his first pick - he's never been to anywhere in Europe yet so I'm happy to let him make that choice. I haven't been to France yet and there's a ton of things we both want to see!

I used my own tweaked shape for all except one. Bianca is the lower right. My husband said he liked that one best, probably because it's older looking, as is Simone. Not enough of a difference to switch over to it. I preferred Greer which is the lower left. I think it would work well for other types of uses than everyday - it's more delicate in appearance. I'm going to need to try them all again with other makeup aside from the Glam Affair which comes with them. On the fence since I love my Simone head so much but I can see if someone else was starting off from scratch that having other options is a good thing. More the better.

Testing all new Lelutka heads. I'm too lazy to notate which is which but, I was surprised that the one I was most drawn (Bianca) to wasn't the one I prefer most once I had them on. If anyone is dying to know, I'll get back to you here later. I do like all of them and will most likely, get another Lelutka head to add to the rest.

Those unnamed facial expressions made me nuts. I can't wait to get home and upgrade my Simone head. Looking forward to the improvements.

Too bad I lean towards being dominant

I use Lelutka's Simone Bento 99% of the time. I love the look of this head and find it easy to customize. I also use Catwa's Catya. This one is my favorite so far but like some others mentioned, the HUD can be difficult to learn. I am not taking full advantage of Catwa's product by a long shot because I just don't have the time. She has a more youthful look than I normally go for but I find Catya a good choice and enjoy wearing the head. Lelutka is much more streamlined and personally, I'm happy with the animations and love the appliers from various creators. Here's a side by side comparison of the two wearing similar makeup (not the same but the look is fairly minimal). Lelutka Simone is more mature looking, my preference. I also have many other heads but these are the two I work with the most. Genesis is a fav or mine but I can't ever seem to get the head/body seam to look as perfect as Lelutka and Catwa's.

Ugh. Team building. I'm the Office Director of my firm. I do not go to any events for the most part. I rarely show up even for the annual holiday parties and never for our summer party. I can't think of anything more boring. I like the people I work with, and I really love my job, but once the day is done, I just want to be home. I'm not much of a party person in general - it's difficult for me to just hang out for hours talking and I don't drink at all anymore (I take a medication which prohibits it) so it's just tedious to put it mildly. We have monthly management meetings which basically rehash the same BS every time and nothing ever changes. I'm obligated to attend those unfortunately. A couple of years back, we brought in a motivational speaker for management to help us come up with a company slogan. Spent the entire day in a room bouncing ideas back and forth and, we all finally came up with something wonderful. Here it is 2 years later, and it's never come up again. And the person cost us $10,000 to do this. FFS.
