    The main thing for me is when getting a random IM.. Like i said, if I went into their environment it's one thing.. but just walking down main street in public.. that's another.. But ya, I don't see to many child avatars really..Let alone, most don't talk to me like they are in character as well as other kinds of themed avatars.. But sometimes it does and most of those times, I don't answer back..

    Honestly, the onyl thing that ever really bothered me, was if they were chatting to me and being immerssed at the same time.. kind of like I'm part of the RP or something, which I'm not.. But that's not just with child avatars.. That's pretty much anyone that tried to pull me into their RP from the start.. It's one thing if I'm exploring and venture into a sim that is made for those kinds of RP's.. But if you see me shopping at an event or a store.. That kind of bugs me and most times, I won't answer back. Other than that, I'm always looking at other avatars just to see how creative they got with them.

    I love the creativity of it all.. The little adjustments or trying something new.. I was at the point that it was taking me around 3 attempts to get what i was looking for with a new dish or one I was trying to change to a more healthy version.. I have longer weekends now with my new job, so I try and have one day in the kitchen where I make a few things for the week plus have things prepped for somethings when I make dinner after getting home.. But it's not the same as before, where i had time to really work on them.. Plus I just love how the smell fills the house.. You can also see they love that too.. It's that kind of , knowing you are home feeling.

    The one thing I loved to do when I was home for a year from a work injury was, To be in my kitchen again and spending the whole day working on new recipes. But that was mainly because I had all the time in the world and would have went crazy if I didn't have something to do .. hehehe But I really loved finding things that my husband and the boys loved.. Then trying to find a way to make those things healthy but something that they would still love.. I brought my Avocado egg salad, to a Christmas party this past holiday seasons.. A big ole bowl of it too.. People were getting baggies and taking some home with them and asking me for the recipe.. I was so happy I use Avocado to replace Mayonnaise because just one table spoon of Mayonnaise adds like 700 calories to egg salad, which is like the only thing that really makes it bad for a lot of people.. So I thought, what's a much healthier fat.. plus used spices that I crushed and mixed myself.. Now, my husband and the boys can't have egg salad any other way.. That made me really happy too. I really love getting creative in my kitchen.. It's just finding the time to do it now which is hard.

    I used to give out my recipes in here, But you know how the internet can be sometimes.. The few outweigh the many.. hehehe Also, I wouldn't think this thread isn't going to last too long once the higher ups realize it's not SL related.. But lets find out I guess.. hehehe

    A graphics program makes those layers transparent or not , like photoshop or gimp. One example is, taking a skin that may already be on the market back into the graphics program and adding a layer to it from the graphics program and baking it into the skin. That line is specifically to Child avatar content creators. "Child avatar content creators are required to add a modesty layer which is baked into child avatar skins or bodies, is not transparent, does not match the skin tone, and may not be removed." Now what makes a modestly layer baked into a skin transparent on the skin that it is baked into? Nothing, because it is baked into the skin.. An alpha layer or alpha cut separate from the skin.. Say from someones inventory or that they made themselves and uploaded into SL, isn't making the modestly layer transparent, it's making the avatar transparent. There is no way to make the modesty layer itself transparent, without breaking the rules.

    I've been trying to watch this since last Friday night.. Really I've been putting it on and laying down to go to bed and falling asleep to it for the whole week.. It's just so relaxing that I've slept really well this week.. But I do love watching this movie and have seen it a couple of times before, years ago.. I'll probably watch it tonight and make sure not to fall asleep and watching it in it's entirety. It's a really good movie.. The Last Emperor.

    That's how it is where we are also..The mountains are like a ramp or something that stunts them if we even get them.. they mostly go around us as well.. Last night at one point in our area, there was over 40 tornado warnings at the same time.. then another 7 below us in Alabama. When I woke up this morning at 3:30 which is when my alarm goes off.. I was like, why the heck is my alarm so loud.. It was my alarm and another tornado warning.. lol They were none stop all night long. It was crazy..

    If you're referring to this part here Child avatar content creators are required to add a modesty layer which is baked into child avatar skins or bodies, is not transparent, does not match the skin tone, and may not be removed. The transparency part is not saying you can't use alpha layers to wear clothes.. It's saying the modesty layers can't be transparent or match the same tone as the skin and may not be removed. If they are using an alpha layer or alpha cut for clothing, it's not going to show them naked.. They are pretty much saying make the modesty layer solid, not transparent in anyway, like sheer or fishnet or clear so you can see the naked skin under it.

    Our homes are all built on the east side of a mountain and the tornadoes come from the west. We've seen signs of them on the back side of the mountain before where they cut some paths, but not anything on our side.. We've got 10 ft tall concrete basement right inside of the mountain which has more mountains on the other side of the mountain we're built into.. hehehe We've got just as many bedrooms in the basement as we do up stairs, as well as another kitchen and then a bar and rec area.. It's mainly set up for guests, but also for emergencies.. The whole upstairs could collapse and it wouldn't come through the floor.. We could just walk out the basement door.. hehehe Myself, I was more worried about the people I know in town and those that I work with and others around the area where things were getting hit. I've been in two tornadoes in my life and both were up north in the suburbs of Chicago, when we lived there for a little bit before moving down to Tennessee.. hehehe They call our region, then new tornado alley.. Which only happened just in the last few years.. It landed on us, we didn't land on it.. lol

    When the time comes I'll worry about all that.. I'm not gonna pre- worry about it now.. hehehe I also don't think there is a war on Child avatars.. Not from the recent changes anyways.. The last time it was mostly A rated land owners.. They got pretty much what they were wanting back then, now.. So I don't think that's a big thing.. Myself, if someone thinks my avatar is a child avatar because it's not taller.. I don't even know what to think then.. It's probably best I don't go in that sim anyways.. Because if they are still going off height after all this time, then they're stuck. I really don't feel it's gonna be anywhere near as rough a ride as the last rodeo..

    Tornado alley used to be out west when we moved here. It moved to us. Also, we built log cabins with 16 inch logs not sticks. Hehehe A wedge dont care if you're in a stone home or a paper home, it's taking it. It was Chicago or here. Here is a heck of a lot safer than Chicago. Hehehe

    We've got more going on.. We're getting hit with warning after warning.. From the looks of it, they are all north so far.. The last one was a big wedge that caused all kinds of devastation and trapped people and tore everything up in it's path. They aren't sure if it was an E3 or E4.. this next one they are saying is showing close to the same signs.. on top of that we have flash flood warnings going on for the next two days as well, which t creeks that are like two ft wide look like wide rivers now.. Tennessee is gonna have a long night .. It's that time of year again. ETA: There is now 7 storms below us in north Alabama and south Tennessee and one to the west of us and all are rotating.. Not counting the ones to the east that already passed. This is the worst I've ever seen it since we've lived down here. This is the channel we use for severe weather information..

    Big peeve: At myself. I was hanging on the forum after work and taking about man bear stuff, then jumped on youtube.. Then found out that a big wedge tornado had passed just north of us, while I was goofing around on here.. The circulation on it is the size of one third of the county.. I'm kicking myself in the butt hard for letting that get by me..

    I would guess if the body isn't bom they would need to have one. But if a body is bom and you have a system skin on. It doesn't matter if you body doesn't rez or your clothes don't rez.. You won't be nude..Nobody can derez your skin..By skin I mean system skin, not tattoo layer skin.. ETA: I went and found the section that pertains to what you are asking..     Senras don't need it to be part of the body, they can use a modesty layer skin. But honestly, I haven't logged in all week to really know for sure if they have those layers in their skin.. I doubt they would be built into the body.. but there is two different bodies they can use if they choose. But if they want to switch one day or one hour to the next.. They can just use the same body and have and have one folder use one skin and the other folder use another skin with the different modesty layers.. It doesn't have to be a body, it can just be the skin.

    They have both bodies in their library.. With outfit folders it's not a problem I wouldn't think.. I mean I have a bunch of different mesh bodies set up with outfit folders.. It's a couple of seconds to make the switch.. So they can feel one way one moment and maybe later in the day feel like switching and it's quick quick, off and running.
