    Ya I agree, Many users have the basics of things down pretty well and could stop there and just go do other things.. I think my problem is, it's starting to feel like other platforms, where there is only so many of these mesh to texture, so it becomes more about selling the same mesh in many places and make it about the color or texture, rather than more making their own mesh and adding more originality in the mesh pool.. I could settle for the basics and be more involved in other things, But I've always been hooked on trying to piece together ideas that pop in my head, from things I find in the world.. The only problem is, those things are either nonexistent because those kind of things don't get made anymore or buried under the flood of repetitive regurgitation. I remember having ideas and being able to put together something in a day or two, where now if it can be done, usually takes me a week or two of hunting.. It's feeling more like a world of, how can I make money in here, rather than I want to learn to create and express myself kind of world.. But it could just be that I'm just getting bored with the world as well.. It wouldn't be the first time I guess.. hehehe

    That's pretty childish of them.. But I think the internet brings out a lot of childish behavior in people. I just wish the fun childish behavior, outweighed the spoiled.. hehehe

    I'm just gonna go back to what I used to do and not bother with events and sales anymore.. I'm just gonna get those triple A creators on a list and when they release something that I like, I'll get it.. there really is no reason for me to shop as much as I do.. So much things just sit in my inventory.. I'll still browse the sales and events on the website, because ya , it's good to relax and have my tea early on a Friday or Saturday morning.. But I'm gonna stop settling for less quality as well as, buying the same exact mesh from another store.. For me it's just silly for me to do..

    I haven't bought lindens in two weeks. The events and the sales just have so much of the same thing and in more than one store having the same mesh.. Shopping is getting really boring and monotonous really.. I'm really craving more originality in a market that is lacking in it more and more.. It's feeling more like fast food than dining out anymore.

    Then you have the other end of the spectrum, where things get rigged to not clip rather than to fit. There is some pretty floaty things out there.. hehehe

    I just finished watching the first 6 episodes which are a little over 4 minutes each and are not a continuation of the previous, but are each their own thing.. They were done so well..     SL for me is all about relaxing.. I know it's probably getting old hearing me say it as many times as I have in the forums.. hehehe But honestly, I love the risk of trying things out and even swimming in rough waters at time.. Sometimes it's to see how well I do or just for the experience.. I think I swim pretty good in the forums when things get hot.. But then again that could just be me telling myself that too.. LOL That's one thing I can say about second life.. I can do that without real risk really while feeling a taste of it.. I always get butterflies from the excitement of trying some group that I thought I would never go into.. Most times the buildup to the excitement was all in my head.. But if it's bad enough in there, like really clique in a bad way.. I just leave.. I may try a few more that are sort of like it though, because first impressions might be misleading.. I just like being curious and seeing what the hub bub is all about most times in many things.. hehehe SL is good for that.

    I think I would give it a try though, if I was curious I mean, just to see what is going on in there.. It's a good chance you might find one or two or a few or who knows until you try, that you may get along with.. We can always call it quits.. hehehe

    I seen the trailer for the Cocaine bear.. I just had to look it up.. It's glazed with a touch of a true story.. like the bear finding the cocaine and eating it, end of true story.. lol <--- Not laughing about the bear, just the Hollywood desperation.. I don't think I heard of the Winnie the pooh one though.. I'm gonna have to look that one up.. hehehe

    You have to watch out for them though.. Because if they keep coming at you, it usually means they are sizing you up as a meal.. We have black bear here and they usually just scatter, especially if you're riding.. But had a time or two that I had to pop off a round into the ground to back them off.. they didn't get really close or anything like that, but they were coming.. If they were sizing me up or not, I wasn't sure, but I wasn't about to find out either.. hehehe I'm more worried about the cats than the bears though..They are more fearless..

    There is one man that really stands out to me around here that I just ran into one day, because I always seen him.. I can't remember how old he was when I met him, but he was in world war two. I said hi to him one day and he waved and said hello back to me.. We just started to converse and then kind of ended up by his truck talking.. What he was doing at the time was going around and cutting and taking care of all the lawns of widows of world war two veterans..I was just amazed at that in itself.. We talked for a good 30 minutes.. I came to find out from from someone else, because a lot of people knew of him. That he had been captured by the Japanese back in world war two and was held for like two years as a prisoner of war.. Just thinking of what all he went through that I had learned about as well as found out later from just reading on it more, just how traumatizing that would have been.. What really amazed me is just how sweet and nice of a man he was and how interesting he was to talk to.. I never even thought of something like that happening to him.. Then learning about it later, I just had this huge amount of respect for him.. He was very humbling for me..

    A lot of older people rock!! \o/ There are so many that I could just sit there all day listening to them talk about their experiences.. Many have been very grounding for me..

    OMG I watched that video. I was just waiting for the part where Mamma shows up to hand everyone there, their Darwin Award. Cubs in a tree is a sign that it's time to go back the same way you came. Coming across cubs in general out in the wild, will tighten up your butt star real fast, if you know better.. hehehe

    I'll disagree with the last part of that meme, I do agree with the first part, age is just a number in that case.. For the second part of it, I'm sure it works for wine, but for people, wisdom comes from experience. for this topic, it's mostly from bad experiences and mistakes. Starting out good doesn't mean you will end up good.. Many that start out good and get corrupted and stay that way. Just one off the top of my head, since it's early and my wheels aren't spinning just yet.. hehehe Malcom X didn't become wise because he started out good. He started out bad and became wise because of learning from his experiences. Also, not all wise people are good people. Just like with anything, wisdom doesn't land in one spot, there is a wide range of wise people.. Plus, who someone else may feel is wise, others may not see them that way and listen to another that contradicts them.. We all have some wisdom that we picked up along the way, whether we started out good or bad.. If we didn't we probably would have fallen to a Darwin Award by now.. hehehehe In my eyes, it's good to have a listen to as many as you can from all specrums and absorb what you can use for yourself after researching the hell out of it, not use it just because it sounds good..Sorting out the fluff takes experience itself.. But the best wisdom comes from paying attention to my own life's lessons and learning from those.. My resilience comes from learning from what hasn't killed me and I bounced back from.. As my Father say's, More times than I could ever count.. It's not about the fall, it's about the comeback.. hehehe ETA: Just to add, I'm not referencing Second life in any of this. Because second life could do it's worst to me and not put a ding in the armor built from RL.. hehehe

    I agree, a lot really mess with the head positions as well, putting the chin almost into the breastplate.

    I usually make sure that when I walk and a lot of my stands that I use, that things don't clip.. But dances I would think there is no way that even the best creator of them all could plan for as many of those that are out there.. Many dances move the bodies in ways they weren't intended in SL.. Especially when mocap came along and they became more realistic movements.. Sometimes the bones get moved outside of their range..
