  1. Do you have problems with your log in ?
  2. Hello blueeyedcowgirl. Last weeks there is a bug with offlines which affects many residents (not all). They get nothing when they are offline. Maybe this problem affects you also. Here is a jira: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-7540? You can vote there, add your comment and follow the suggestion of Maestro Linden: "After more investigation, I have a guess about why this issue only affects certain avatars. One of my avatars had this issue, and had an empty Block List. As soon as I had the avatar block an object inworld (right click -> Block), I immediately received the queued offline IMs. This fix persisted between different sessions, even after I removed the object from my Block List (making it empty once again). For those of you affected by this bug, could you try blocking/muting an object or avatar, and see if that fixes your problem? To block an object (or avatar), you can right click on them, then select Manage->Block from the context menu." Generally when you have problems with delivery failures you can contact the merchant with a notecard in world, asking politely for redelivery. If you don't get a reply by the merchant you can also submit a ticket under Marketplace --> Failed Marketplace Delivery. About stuff you don't use and refund: Depends of the policy of the brand / store. You have to ask about, contacting the merchant / creator.
  3. Hello Raki3R. I am with Irene. I have no idea about what you ask for and i prefer not to guess. If answers about to rezz a cube is what you wanted, accept those answers as solutions. If you mean something else, edit your post (Options --> Edit) adding more details and trying to explain better.

  5. Hello Maleficent. 2-3 words only. Move to an Adult region in order to reasure that you won't have future problems.
  6. Hello Nanicolas and welcome to SL Forums. What you mean when you say that "things began to fade alone"? If you mean that you lost items from your inventory follow the suggestions here: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Inventory_loss If you mean that you can't use some of your items, move to a region without lag and confirm that your inventory is fully loaded. If you mean that you want to get more stuff, start shopping or in stores in world or at Marketplace. If you mean something else edit your post (Options --> Edit) providing more details and trying to be more unequivocal.
  7. Hello Sicily and welcome to SL Forums. It is a problem with your graphics. Try to disable VBO (under Preferences --> Graphics --> Hardware) and also Http textures under Menu Develop (Ctrl+Alt+Q) and see if that makes any difference.

  11. Hello FoxFalco and welcome to SL Forums. Open your dashboard (log in http://secondlife.com/ ) --> Account on the left --> Transaction History to check out where your lindens gone. Maybe group liabilities? If so and you don't want to pay more, just delete these groups. In Viewer 3 is Menu Communicate --> Groups --> right click on a group --> Leave.
  12. Hello Domihrd and welcome to SL Forums. As Known and Ariel suggested look in Lost and Found folder for coalesced objects. In addition i don't understand why you didin't take your stuff before you abandon your land. Were they so many? Of course not. We speak for a Linden Home with up to 117 prims. It was a mistake. Always with auto returns you have a risk to lose something.
  13. Duplicated. Answers at: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Account/my-avatar-does-not-enter-the-Second-Life-program-with-a-message/qaq-p/1328945
  14. Hello Fran and welcome to SL Forums. There are 2 main causes you get this error message. Maybe: 1)It is relative with region rolling restarts we have all these days in world for maintenance. We have earlier today but they have been completed now. Please see: http://status.secondlifegrid.net/ Also with a temporal problem at the region you are trying to log in. If so, is possible to fix the problem if you log in a different region. Try to log in a protected land like Smith, Exeuxoa or Anzere and see if that helps. If you use the official viewer and you can't select a different region, in your log in screen give the command: Menu Me --> Preferences --> General Tab --> Enable "Show on login" --> OK. After click the down arrow where it says "Start at" and choose <Type region name> --> Smith --> Login. 2)It is relative with invalid character(s) in your group tag, with a 2-byte character being sliced in half, resulting in a corrupt character. If so, you will fix the problem if you remove or change it. Maybe it is a group you joined in or you created recently. If you remember which group tag you wear, log in with an alt (alternative / another account), find the owner or a manager of the group, explain who you are and ask them to eject you of the group. If you are the group owner, again log in with an alt and change the group tag. If it is no possible, tell your friends to delete the group. When they all leave, your groups in 48 hours will stop to exist, so you will fix your problem. In any case if you are a premium and you can't find a solution, you can submit a ticket https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ --> Account issue --> Second Life Web Login Issues. Report there the problem analytically and wait for a reply. Good luck.
  15. Hello Solerossa. The faster way to identify your graphics card is the command: Start button --> Run --> Type there "dxdiag" (without the quotation marks) --> OK --> Open the Display tab (2nd one). There you see your graphics card.
  16. Hello FiraFirecat and welcome to SL Forums. Sounds like a glitch for me. Sure it is annoying but it is possible to get fixed after a while itself. Try to clear your cache under Preferences --> Privacy and see if that makes any difference. If the problem remains i would suggest you to roll back to the previous version of V3 (3.2.4) if it was working for you without problems. In this case don't forget to set your software updates no to be installed automatically (Preferences --> Setup).
  17. Hello Paulo. You get the bonus of 1000 L$ 45 days after the date you upgraded to Premium.
  18. Hello Enya and welcome to SL Forums. Who robbed your L$? Open your dashboard (log in http://secondlife.com/ ) --> Account on the left --> Transaction History to check out where your L$ gone. If you have to add something which would help for a better answer you can edit your post (Options --> Edit).
  19. Hello Porchse. Maybe you need to spend some time to read about the new UI. It happens when we try something for first time, but gradually you will see that you will do everything really faster. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Featured-News/November-Update/ba-p/1219695
  20. Hello IrishAnimal and welcome to SL Forums. I checked out your profile and i noticed that you have a display name. For a cause proposals for partnership seems that do not work if the residents have display names. Delete temporarily your display name, suggest your partner to do that same and try again. If the problem remains, there is a jira about: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-3828 You can vote there and add your comment. If so, usually you have an official answer from someone of LL's support team.
  21. Hello Carmon. Some details about your system's specs and your internet connection would be helpful for a better answer. You can try the suggestions at the following links. They are from Phoenix wiki but they work for all viewers: http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/doku.php?id=lag http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/doku.php?id=very_laggy Good luck.
  22. Hello Carlyle and welcome to SL Forums. If you need an economical suggestion, theoretically you can run this moment SL in high graphics efficiently with: Processor Intel ® Core i3 @ 2.10GHz 4GB Ram Nvidia GT 500 series (520 or 540) ....with windows 7 (32 or 64 bit) and with internet connection up to 2 Mbps. On the other side if your aim is the Ultra Performance (with Lighting, shadows etc) you need definitely something much better and more expensive which i am not sure if it is worth to buy just for SL.
  23. Hello Anna and welcome to SL Forums. Check out under Preferences --> Privacy if you have enabled the options: Save nearby chat logs on my computer Save IM logs on my computer and also (from the same tab) if you have changed the location of logs.
  24. Hello princessbellacullen21 and welcome to SL Forums. For me is very possible to fix the issue if you clear your cache manually (out of SL and having your viewer closed). To do that delete all contests at the following folders: C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ ApplData \ Local \ Secondlife and C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ AppData \ Roaming \ SecondLife Remarks: The paths i gave you exist for Windows Vista of 7. If your OS is different, let us know editing your post. About Windows paths: C:\ = Your hard disk, you find it if you open "My computer". Where you see backslash, follows a folder into the previous one Usually the folder Appdata is a hidden folder. If so --> Windows Tools \ Folder Options \ View & enable Show Hidden Files/Folders If you want to keep your private conversations which are saved in your computer, copy the folder with your nickname to another position in your hard disk. The folder is: C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ AppData \ Roaming \ SecondLife \ princessbellacullen21_resident If you had an error message during the installation of last version of V3 (3.2.5) like: Error opening file for writing: C:\Program Files \ SecondlifeViewer\llplugin\imageformats\qtiff4.dll (and several more .dll files after) Click Abort to stop the installation, Retry to try again, or Ignore to skip this file ....uninstall also the viewer using the windows control panel and download a fresh copy from http://secondlife.com/support/downloads/ Good luck.
