EDIT: Cabbage and Luc is no good really to discourage someone and especially a new user when he/she tries to find a job and to earn some lindens. Everyone has the right to try, to hope, to dream. I have seen with my eyes so many new users to earn thousands of lindens dancing or hosting in short time and i continue to see many daily. We can't exclude something if at first we haven't tried it. Anyone of us can be sure if icoming is able to use CC or paypal in SL. Anyone also can be sure that he/she wants to do that. Also we don't know if he/she tried to buy lindens and failed. The question is clear about a job in SL. If he/she needs to buy lindens, we can explain how to do that.

Hello Mayalily. Every brand has its own hud and options. If it is your first pair of shoes with a hud, you need to spend some time to find the suitable colour which matches with your skin's colour. It's a combination, no something standard. You need to play and be sure that at first you read the instructions. It's impossible to adjust perfectly the colour. You can google for "second life shoes with huds" to find several blogs and discussions but i am not sure if you can get help by them.

Hello Abel. It would be better if you give us PC's specs. Now the only we can do is to guess. During my holidays previous summer i used to log in with a very old 10'' Dell with graphical card incorporated in motherboard. Usually my avatar was like an egg, everything arround me grey for long time, everything was in slow motion and i had difficulties to move and to rotate my camera. With few words it was a pain although i could log in and chat with my friends. As already mentioned depends of how low are your PC's specs. Except of low distance and graphics, avoid to run other applications when you are in world.

Hello Rachele. For weeks? wow it 's a long time! I guess you have already tried to rebake your textures with Ctrl+Alt+R. Open your inventory, write something in search there and wait fetching ALL your items till the last one. After that, move to a region with less lag. Smith, Lime or Aque are protected lands which are recommended. There, try to change outfit. Choose one with just the necessary stuff (skin, shape, hair, eyes, pants and shirt) without any attachments. If this doesn't work for you, test your avatar. In Viewer 2 give the command: Menu Develop (Ctrl+Alt+Q) --> Avatar --> Character Tests --> Test Male / Female. If the problem remains, clear your cache manually: (XP) - C: \ Documents and Settings \ (USER NAME) - Application Data \ SecondLife and C: \ Documents and Settings \ (USER NAME)\ Local Settings \ Application Data \ Second Life (Vista) and (Win 7) - C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ AppData \ Roaming \ SecondLife and C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ ApplData \ Local \ Secondlife Delete everything in those folders and restart first your computer and after the program. Usually the folder Appdata is a hidden folder. (Windows Tools \ Folder Options \ View & enable Show Hidden Files/Folders) Have in your mind that if you clear your cache manually you will lost all your private conversations which are saved in your computer. To avoid it copy the folder with your username in the folder Secondlife in another position in your hard disk. If you have more that 1 viewers installed in your computer, you must to do it for all following the same paths in your hard disk. For example C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ ApplData \ Local \ PhoenixViewer Relog in a protected land, open your inventory, type something there and follow the same process as i described. Keep in touch here and let us know if you fixed your problem or you need more help.

The opposite happens often also. Users with problems in V2, fix them when they changed Viewer and log in Phoenix. That's why i asked you if you use V2.

It is a usual problem in Phoenix. Usually it is an internet connection issue. Power down your modem / router for at least 2 mins. After that, power on again and log in a protected land without lag like Smith, Lime or Aqua. If it doesn't work for you, give the command: Menu Edit --> Preferences --> Phoenix Tab --> Page 2 --> Advanced Graphics --> select HTTP Get Textures --> Apply --> OK Relog. See if that helps

Also in Win 7 except of the folder (Win 7) - C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ AppData \ Roaming \ SecondLife , you must to delete and the folder C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ ApplData \ Local \ Secondlife

Hello bucky. A laptop with nvidia GT 500 series (mine is GT520M) will run the program without any problem. I suggest this series because a laptop with 200 GTX will be expensive enough, maybe double price. I have set my graphics to ultra. :smileywink:
