(Windows Tools \ Folder Options \ View & enable Show Hidden Files/Folders) Have in your mind that if you clear your cache manually you will lost all your private conversations which are saved in your computer. To avoid it copy the folder with your username in the folder Secondlife in another position in your hard disk. If you have more that 1 viewers installed in your computer, you must to do it for all following the same paths in your hard disk. Hello Sibyl. Your graphics card is no a problem when it is included in the recommended cards for SL. You are not the only user with Mac who has problems with the last updates of Viewer 2. For me downloand a previous edition of viewer 2, http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Supported_Viewers and set your software updates NO to be installed automatically. (Preferences --> Setup --> Hardware). See if that helps. Good luck.

Hello. At first try to test your avatar. In Viewer 2 give the command: Menu Develop (Ctrl+Alt+Q) --> Avatar --> Character Tests --> Test Male / Female. Usually it fixes the problem. If you see your avatar this way like a newbie, after you can change outfit wearing again your favorite. Open your inventory, write something in search there and wait fetching ALL your items till the last one. That means, you download, you get back your inventory (suggested to do that every time you log in - if your inventory is not fully loaded, you do nothing else). When downloading finishes, change outfit choosing one with just the necessary stuff (skin, shape, hair, eyes, pants and shirt) without any attachments. Good luck.

This way you have access in all of adult regions except of the estate owner restricts access to residens who are verified with Age Verification. Hello Coty. More than 10 days with that problem is really long time. I accept that you tried all the solutions (about 10 people posted for you) and nothing worked. Well.... If you use Viewer 2, try to log in with Phoenix. I believe that you will fix your problem. If you use Phoenix, give a try to this: Menu Edit --> Preferences --> Phoenix tab --> Page 2 --> 4rth tab "Advanced Graphics" --> Select "HTTP Get Textures" --> close the pop-up window --> OK --> Relog in a protected land (Smith, Lime, Aqua) .... ....open your inventory, write something in search there and wait fetching ALL your items till the last one. When it finished, try to change outfit.

Hello ttichacek. In Viewer 2 give the command: Menu Me --> Preferences --> General Tab --> Unselect "My name" --> Select "View Display names" --> OK Have in your mind that it exists only for you. Your friends and everybody arround you will see your display name only if they have display names enable for them. The fact is that you never hide your account name even you have a display name.

Hello Wesli. For me don't spend many lindens in your first steps in SL. Try cheap skins and play with the shapes you can get almost free, as already mentioned, and if later you consider that you need something better, you can search and find unlimited products at Marketplace and in world also. A good idea is maybe a combination with a skin and body oil if you like it. Sometimes a good body oil limits the defects of a middle or poor quality skin.
