  1. I did not have all the facts, as the driver in question neglected to mention that he drives vehicles on their sides. In the air. In flames. While (probably) drunk. :smileyvery-happy:
  2. Willow Danube wrote: wow... seriously guys... can we bring this somewhere away from this thread. Have you all no respect for Hippie? At least for a tiny bit? He has been really generous of making all this happening for all of you and this is what YOU GUYS are doing? Where is your gratitude? This is very disheartening... Agreed...there are plenty of places to play these games. This thread is not one of them.
  3. I've found that living on a private island is no guarantee you won't get crazed vehicles flying about.... /me looks accusingly at Dres :smileyvery-happy:
  4. Ha, that's awesome, Ceka! I'd never thought of doing that...now I can't wait to send a noob plummeting to the ground!
  5. OMG, I didn't notice that, Venus! Too funny....:smileyvery-happy:
  6. Good morning and hugs, everyone! Are Val and I still in the penalty box?? :smileyvery-happy:

  8. I love Alirium, too....such a great place for photos! I think it's time for another lounge...:smileyvery-happy:
  9. I use Firestorm, and only use in world search when I'm looking for places. Under the "old" search, I'd also look for items sometimes, but that doesn't work so well for me now. I will go the the in world store to purchase once I've found the item on the Marketplace, if I think that the store might have other things I'd like to check out, or if it's something like a house where I want to see it in person before I buy.
  10. You might check out Mynerva; as I recall, the look of the skins from there is fairly soft. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Extensor/116/202/22
  11. If the spot is right next to your own parcel, it can make a little buffer zone between your house and your neighbor's banlines, too! (Or a nice place to set a cannon pointing at them...) :smileyvery-happy:
  12. Although I love Randall's answer, those small or oddly shaped plots are not without value. If I own a plot and a little cheap (abandoned land is $1/sq m) plot become available on the same sim, I'd likely buy it just so I could have the spare prims.

  14. My faves are LAQ, League and Dutch Touch.
  15. I'm not clear on why you have "build" set to "none", but... are the objects themselves set to the proper group?

If you wander away from the cottage into the trees, the feeling is very secluded.
  17. Good morning Hippie, Val, Lillie, Cat and Dee! And to everyone else who hasn't wandered in yet!! Hugs to all!:matte-motes-inlove:
  18. Thanks, Venus! I have a whole rainbow of hairs so thought I should actually wear some of them sometime! lol And I think you are going to get help with that truck very soon! :smileywink: Love the butterfly tattoos!!
  19. Oh, Valerie, I can't stay away from that store now...thank you for telling me about it!! /me hugs you back
  20. Hot as always, Cat!! You have inspired me to relax, so here I am lounging in the yard after a busy evening...
