I wonder if they are trying to communicate with the 16 to 17 crowd or the little kids that are on it for school/project reasons? If they are I know for a fact that their English teachers would be appalled at the grammar and 'slang' that they are using. I know I can't understand it and I'm in my early 20s... lol

might be LL telling you to upgrade we're shutting down standard v1? i dunno i never had that issue but then again i run a third party viewer like phoneix.

I don't usually change.... If I'm naked or something (because I do like to go naked.) I will throw on clothing. I usually have a few things... But not much. On my account yet. I have a few things friends have bought me/got the l for through donations/etc. But it all depends on how much I log in and when and where. LOL

Does anyone know anything about the new ranks? o.o because its all sort of confusing to me. Because I keep getting new inbox saying I have ranked up and such. How do I go about ranking up and why am I doing so? Can anyone tell me anything?

Do you go to certain places to make friends? I personally go to the places I go because I'm somewhat shunned outside of the "normal" populous because of my gender choice in SL. Other than that sometimes I make friends, sometimes I don't. Sometimes I go the places I go to make money. Do you speak to people first or wait to be spoken to? I've been known to be very quiet at times and I've been known to be a area b*tch. Do you attend events? if I get dragged to them, yeah. Do you join groups to make friends? none of them have resulted of that yet. But then again I'm still new to SL. Most importantly are these people truly friends or do you consider them acquaintances? I have a few good friends, and I'm partnered to my best friend <3 but most still are aquatintences but I give everyone that chance to become a friend.

yeah i have seen that... my self i'm not a pet/slave/etc. but i know a good friend of mine is (she hates gorean people because of the fact she's into BDSM and wears a collar, though not leashed most othe time, she still gets crap for having a collar on even when its not doing anything its just there around her neck.) into BDSM (not gorean, there is a differnce). i was more of thinking along the lines of shopping and just casual club places, and was kinda curious.

I'm a new resident (obviously) and I was just wondering because I know some people from 2008 (and before) I've talked to said that its a lot easier for say a human to walk into a furry club, or vise versa than it was when they first started. That the different communities actually hated and tried to get each other into trouble and such. I know there are good and bad eggs in ever group, but I'm just wondering if their opinion is shared or is it as divided as it it was when my friends first started second life. What are your thoughts?
