SL has both good and bad stuff (like some other life I can think of -- and which is which depends on your POV) -- is there enough you consider good for you to recommend SL to friends? If not, what is it that you have the most reservations about? If my friends would be interested in computer games, then yes I would recommend SL. I wouldn't hang out much with them, but they could do their own thing here.

I'm surprised ... maybe you'd like to read this article about why blonds are more attractive than the rest. *** Blond hair is unique in that it changes dramatically with age. Typically, young girls with light blond hair become women with brown hair. Thus, men who prefer to mate with blond women are unconsciously attempting to mate with younger (and hence, on average, healthier and more fecund) women. It is no coincidence that blond hair evolved in Scandinavia and northern Europe, probably as an alternative means for women to advertise their youth, as their bodies were concealed under heavy clothing. *** But I dress my avatar according to what I find attractive not according to what scientific evidence says... Same goes to what I find attrative in others. :matte-motes-smitten:
  3. 1. Dark hair 2. Black 3. What ever they like to wear. But you'll read it as brunette .
  4. This is good news! A bit more privacy in your own home is always a good thing in my book. In my own home I prefer not to be cammed.
  5. I know I would spend muuuuch less money(and time) in SL if it weren't for Marketplace. I just don't have time to tp around and wait for things to rez. I also refer more unusual styles... and those are much easier to find on marketplace. And I prefer to shop alone so the soical part isn't inmprtant either. One way one can get people in worl is to make demos only available in world.
  6. There were two skin fairs in SL. One was in February: Vanity Universe skin fair and other one was in May: The Skin and Shape Expo. You can find cool makeups from this group too: http://www.flickr.com/groups/1525831@N24/

  9. Nyx Karas wrote: Seriously? I'm often glad if I can find just one creator selling what I need of preferrably decent quality. There are things I've searched for practically since I joined SL and still never seen anywhere. I agree with this. If your style is mainstream/casual/RLcopy then there's lot of choices. But if you want more alternative styles, then the choices are very limited.
  10. Randall Ahren wrote: There are two types of residents: (1) those that are into avatar appearance, and (2) those who are not. Linden Lab believes in both. Yes this!! I am into avatar appearances and I notice good looking avatars more. But that doesn't mean I expect everybody to be as vain as me. Oh and I love me some nice looking weapons!
  11. I'd say 50/50. Marketplace is much better place to find more interetsing/alternative/fanatsy stuff and to find not well known creators. Inworld shopping I usually do when i see something on fashion blogs.
  12. As human she is Sarah Kerrigan but as a Zerg hybrid she's called Queen of Blades.
  13. Hi Sion! The character is from Starcraft 2! Sarah Kerrigan ... love her!
  14. "normal" is boring to me. Love uniqueness... would love to see more of it in SL.
  15. I have two addictions in SL: Hair and eyes. These are from Negapoisi. She makes very cheap and awesome eyes.
  16. It may be "in" but I will not lose my boobies! :smileyvery-happy: And as a skin maker no I will not make small boobies version for my skins. I just can't! But I agree, it's good to have more choices.
  17. I make skins and makeups in SL but have zero interest in that in RL. Also as much as I shop and love to play dressup in SL, I hate shoping in RL and don't care about rl fashion at all.
  18. I only say something when asked. Otherwise it's non of my business how people choose to look in SL.
