  1. Really? Little problems like this now bother people? Sheesh lighten up and just cam away.
  2. Poopypants are a nono on everybody.:matte-motes-bashful-cute-2:
  3. Love it for some corsets and boots. Other clothes can't really wear... doesn't fit. And in all it looks a bit too bulky. I guess I prefer more tight fitting clothes. :matte-motes-grin: I do wish more designers would combine texture layer and mesh parts. Like on the skirts with only mesh flap.
  4. You don't get out enough.:matte-motes-wink:
  5. Love mesh for full rigged avatars. And I have few mesh hairs... also mesh boots are nice. Not a fan yet when it comes to clothes. It's great for some skirts(when done with texture layer) and corsets. Most of the styles so far are too everyday and boring for my taste. Oh and yes... the clothes also don't fit my shape either. Will see what the deformer brings.
  6. Just no! Creative minds can do awesome pictures with ony things SL has to offer.
  7. It's from [ContraptioN]. Creator is Faust Steamer. :matte-motes-inlove: This mouth is from there too: :matte-motes-evil-invert:
  8. Magika, Lelutka, Maitreya, Raw House, Slink , [kik], Angel, Boon, Pocket Mirrors, (Milana), [shag] , Discord Designs, Lamb, [Raspberry Aristocrat] , Kin, Mirai Style, [69], Ploom, [bellissimo], !!Calico Ingmann Creations!!, Hairoin, Clawtooth, Dura, LoQ, Alice Project... I'm sure I'm missing some of my favorite places. I'll add more. Yes... hair is my addiction in SL. CaTwA, Damselfly, Fab-U-Lous, Analog Dog, Detour - These hairs have alpha glitching problem, but can work great for pictures.

  10. Strawberry Singh wrote: Do you dress your av the same way? Did you make your av look like you? No and no. SL would be soooo booring then ugh.
  11. I'm more interested in full mesh avatars. Those are fun. Clothes... not that interested so far. I'm one of those who doesn't want to loose her shape. Also for layering the mesh clothes don't work yet. I can see myself wearing some tight pencil skirt or mesh hair. But as mesh is still a new thing, I'm sure designers will get better and better.
  12. Gidge Uriza wrote: What is it YOU are looking for? Creative, interesting, unusual styles. Yes there's many blogs in SL, but it's still hard to find blogs with more alternative/different styles. Everything is too mainstream/casual. :matte-motes-not-even: Also prefer pics over text for fashion blog. Dislike gossip and wtfug type blogs.
  13. Nope not all have fairy godmother or godfather in SL. Some of us learned everything by themselves.:matte-motes-smitten:
  14. Creativity. Truly creative/interesting stuff is so much harder to find in SL, so if I find something I like I can excuse if it's not perfect quality. And I can fix lot of thing in photoshop later to make it work for photos.
  15. Androgynes look interesting. But I prefer men to look like men and women like women.
  16. I'm a skin designer and don't understand that trend either. I personally put all extras(cleavae, freckles,no pubes etc.) into a one pack. One reason can also be they are too lazy to update all the skin packs. Or yeah just another way to make more money.

SL has never been a social place for me.
  18. Pamela Galli wrote: Kind of related to the portrayal of SL in the film Life 2.0 -- which apparently leaves out everything good about SL. SL has both good and bad stuff (like some other life I can think of -- and which is which depends on your POV) -- is there enough you consider good for you to recommend SL to friends? If not, what is it that you have the most reservations about? If my friends would be interested in computer games, then yes I would recommend SL. I wouldn't hang out much with them, but they could do their own thing here.
  19. Willow Danube wrote: Really guys? I'm surprised ... maybe you'd like to read this article about why blonds are more attractive than the rest. *** Blond hair is unique in that it changes dramatically with age. Typically, young girls with light blond hair become women with brown hair. Thus, men who prefer to mate with blond women are unconsciously attempting to mate with younger (and hence, on average, healthier and more fecund) women. It is no coincidence that blond hair evolved in Scandinavia and northern Europe, probably as an alternative means for women to advertise their youth, as their bodies were concealed under heavy clothing. *** But I dress my avatar according to what I find attractive not according to what scientific evidence says... Same goes to what I find attrative in others. :matte-motes-smitten:
  20. 1. Dark hair 2. Black 3. What ever they like to wear. But you'll read it as brunette .
  21. This is good news! A bit more privacy in your own home is always a good thing in my book. In my own home I prefer not to be cammed.
  22. I know I would spend muuuuch less money(and time) in SL if it weren't for Marketplace. I just don't have time to tp around and wait for things to rez. I also refer more unusual styles... and those are much easier to find on marketplace. And I prefer to shop alone so the soical part isn't inmprtant either. One way one can get people in worl is to make demos only available in world.
  23. There were two skin fairs in SL. One was in February: Vanity Universe skin fair and other one was in May: The Skin and Shape Expo. You can find cool makeups from this group too: http://www.flickr.com/groups/1525831@N24/
