Never say never. SL is always evolving & where there's a will there's a way. I am well aware of how permissions work, creator's intention's, all the rules and regs - am a creator myself. And, I would have no problem giving permissions on my no transfer things to be given away but not for profit. But, I would love to see permissions system evolve in such a manner that certain things be possible. And I think one day it will be so Am forever the optimist.

I would really love to be able to pass on some of my clothes I no longer wear. But, 99% of my stuff is no transfer I wonder if at some point there will be a way to pass on these things that we no longer want. Perhaps enable a feature where there is a difference between 'transfer' and 'sell'. Some way to ensure that items that aren't intended for resale can still be given away for free in some manner. Would surely lighten my inventory load since I don't have the heart to delete these things.

I've had no problems purchasing from MP today. However, while searching for a creator's store, I found store but when I click on it, it takes me to the MP home page. Tried a few things to circumvent but no luck. If one creator's store is redirected in this manner, then I would think perhaps there are other's that do as well. So in short, that bug isn't fixed.

Prices vary from designer to designer. As far as modding the exclusive item enough to resell - if you made an agreement with the purchaser that it's not to be resold, then I would most definitely consult them as to how much of a modification is required in order for them to feel that the contract has not been breached. IMO, when a purchaser wants an exculsive item, not to be resold, then I'd be real careful in this area.

Why are you complaining? You break the rules you suffer the consequences. I notice you STILL have other items on your MP that are DMCA'able - unless you contacted the movie makers of Kill Bill & got their permission, you are infringing on their rights.

Suspend all accounts involved until they get the issue sorted. And these days, sorting AR's seem to take much longer than before. So yes, it's a shame that trying to help someone could have unexpected negative results. Since the teen grid merged with the main grid, I have been very conscious about who I meet these days. I've always known that teens were illegally on the grid, but now of course, the population has increased.

I luv this idea. I think LL should really work hard on getting residents together, on the same page, when it comes to events in world. Would luv to see them promote the destination guide in a very very big way. A place where all residents will go to see where everyone else is going etc. Can you imagine? For example, all residents celebrating Carnival, New Orleans style. Thoughout the grid.

^^ This. My first instict after reading the OP was how good deeds can easily go sideways in sl. IMO, be polite but don't encourage any friendship. And most importantly, keep away from any help in any sensative area's such as sex. There are people in sl whose motives are not always true. I see so many kind people being drawn into unnecessary drama with good intentions, only to end up with the poopy end of the stick. Are we allowed to say 'poopy' in here?? ...shrugs & toddles off

IMO sl has always been seen from the outside in, as a sex deprived environment. I have met many people who came here with that mindset. Skip ahead a few years and we now have Zindra - playground for the Adult masses in sl. Then, the inevitable merging of the teen grid as the goal has always been to include a family environment. The problem is, SL is not the type of environment for any of the teens of the rl Ozzie and Harriett types. So what do you end up with? Just another place on the internet to warn your children about and a free for all for those teens that have little or no supervision. Age verification? All you have to do now is click a box swearing that you are 18 years of age. Teens, IMO, do NOT belong in sl period.

ITA. IMO, they should have an Animal category, with animal subcategories. Perhaps using the species as categories. this is where you would locate your domestic animals, farm animals, birds, fish, etc. Then, a completely different category for breedables. I mean considering that not all breedables must be animals. I recall the success of the pet rock in rl for example, I'm sure there are other types of breedables. Regardless, breedables are more like a hobby/business venture where they are sold, traded, etc.

Why? After all these years it's been my experience that LL just goes on it's merry way willy nilly with whatever they decide. I do get a little bothered when I see the gratutious statement regarding listening to their customers which is obviously NOT the case. Most of these categories should follow a 'logical' path. Not only that, but there should be an outline on how this is being done. Take animals for example....you have catgegories for a variety of animals, then you have a category called 'scripted animals'. This is not logical - if you are going to have a product that fits into more than one category (will most def happen in this instance) which category does the merchant choose? You have merchants having items de-listed because another believes it is in the wrong category - isn't this going to make this even more tedious to police? A perfect example has already been mentioned - a structure is NOT a building component. Just as a Meeroo is not a 'breedable' but a 'brand name'. This is unfair & biased & should be changed immediately in all fairness to all those other breedable creators out there.

I find it very interesting the Meeroos get a specific mention under breedables...isn't that like promoting a single breedable as opposed to others in world???? Are there any professionals working at LL?

OK so ... why would LL be collecting the entire price instead of just their percentage??? Is MP coded in such a way that LL receives the full price then delegates the price less their % to the merchant? Because if this is what they are doing, IMO it's bass ackwards.
