Actually I don't use PayPal for SL. But I know a lot a residents (and me in the past) that use the Personal account without problems. AFAIK the Premier account of PayPal does not offer advantages for SL.

Dar a alguien tu contraseña es de las peores ideas que se pueden tener en SL... y posible causa de verte en problemas con LL. Como se ha dicho ya, la mejor forma de prevenir el no saber donde se quedó nuestro avatar "fantasma" es tener cada uno otra cuenta a la que se le de permiso de localizarnos en el Mapa. Si, por ejemplo, Irene Muni se queda "ghost", yo tengo otra cuenta que tiene permiso para ver en el mapa dónde está Irene Muni.

Y es que, de hecho, a todo el mundo -esa es tu pregunta- le apareces como conectado. Es más, si alguien va al lugar donde te desconectaste ¡verá tu avatar! Lo verá incopmpleto, faltándole partes, con otras partes totalmente grises... No podrá hablar con él, el avatar estará congelado... De ahí que solamos llamar a eso un avatar "fantasma"

Por cierto, una idea tonta, ¿Mac no tiene algún sistema para buscar un nombre de archivo en todo el Mac?

Hola, Ewok. Como digo en el otro sitio que lo has preguntado (http://blogs.secondlife.com/message/520900#520900) no tengo ni idea. Probablemente aquí te contestará alguien que sepa de Mac. O quizá en ese otro tema en inglés (lo que pasa es que, ale star "answered", no se ve tan claramente). A lo mejor puedes hacer la preguntá tú directamente abriendo un tema en el foro en inglés (hay bastantes usuarios de Mac), algo así como: I have the problem of "ghosted avatar". But I don't remember my last localization. I know I can sear thar localtion in a PC: AppData/Roaming/Secondlife/irene_muni/teleport_history.txt But where I search that file in Mac OS X 10.6.5.?? In a recent post about skyboxes I have read that "A lot of established club and/or store owners build in the sky to reduce lag." Is that true? Is there less lag in "high" than in "ground"?If that is true, why?Sorry by the question, by my ignorance in many issues is enormeus . Thanks in advance.

Have you cleared your cache, and/or log in another region, reseted your router...? Is it possible the region is full?

If your land is in Mainland you cannot change the texture of the land. If your land is in a Pfrivate Region, only the owner of the region can change the texture for the land, maybe you can speak with his/her. As a workaround you can cover your land with snowy prims, rocks...
