  1. Tameless has a good selection of flexi hair as well.
  2. You're correct. It was Emerald that had that capability as a feature. It was removed by direction from LL. Part of the whole Emerald debacle, iirc, was due to the proprietary module that was added by certain Emerald devs that created a hash that showed not only the viewer used, but also the computer path which allowed alt matching that only Onyx viewers could see. Emerald wasn't shot out of the sky so much as it shot itself in the foot.
  3. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/KOHAKU-Arms-implant-Male-Shu-Mesh/15318986
  4. I agree. What you can't see in the static picture is the red and blue in the arms is a pulse of light that travels down the arms (customizable btw) that looks to me anyway like nerves firing.
  5. The Shu Mesh Kohaku arms are the ones I own. I checked out a bunch of cyber arms and the Kohaku are the ones I bought. You can still wear rings or other hand jewelry with them! For legs I went with Azoury Conception - Black They come with and without feet (so you can wear your flesh feet.) And with flat and high feet for the shoes!
  6. 1. I think you'd have to link them all together. Though depending on the amount of items you might exceed the link limit of 256? (someone correct me if I'm wrong.. like that wouldn't happen anyway..). Once linked together, then you can take the bundle o stuff up and re-plop it down somewhere. [ETA: oh yeah i forgot about the never being able to unlink them part..] Locking just helps prevent you from accidentally deleting your floor and plummeting thousands of meters. Fine, that isn't all but it's what I use it for..
  7. There are lots of ways to gamefy the bot/not bot system. My mainland sim had a plot with bots for about a year or so. The thing is, the plot wasn't in search. They used the bots and built the traffic score 'offline' as it were. They removed most of the bots and put the plot into search for some gatcha reselling business with an insane and totally gamed traffic score.
  8. I think you're missing the point that people have won against ToS/EULA where the terms were unconscionable and abrogated the rights of the user. Especially where legal rights or issues of privacy are concerned. The person that has this as a busy response wasn't around for RedZone. The RedZone creator also argued that use of the basic platform functions was consent. He was incorrect. Even actively asking was not sufficient. It requires an affirmation by the person whose rights are being curtailed. They have to proactively agree as a separate function. Even still, with active consent (in that case to be scanned and personal info uploaded to a third party server), it was still the fact that it disseminated that info in SL that got the creator banned.
  9. New AO, new clothing and a new location (for this thread anyway).
  10. Welcome back Clearskies. I was a latecomer to mesh bodies. There are noticeable differences between a classic AV and a mesh one. Lines are smoother, ankles and wrists look like ankles and wrists, and actual toes instead of foot-like blobs. Another new feature is bento. Fingers can move in natural ways and mesh heads allow for more expressions. There are more 'bones' over all so it also allows for things like tails that swish, neko ears that move and resize with your base shapes ear size and wings that move naturally. If you check out the 'How does your Avatar look today' thread, many of the posters are meshed up 😁 While it's true that most clothing makers no longer make system and prim clothing there is good news if you do decide to go mesh. A new feature called bakes on mesh (BoM) is coming down the pike. BoM will allow you to wear those old system clothing on a mesh body. The main thing that would look horrible on a mesh body are old system skins because the foot will look very weird. Also, newer skins can use 1024 x 1024 textures as opposed to the old 512 x 512. I think that goes for applier clothing as well, which is the closest thing to system clothing. As for your not seeing mesh, there's two things i can think of that might cause the problem. Is your laptop 32 bit or 64 bit? You'll need to make sure you've downloaded the correct viewer version for your system. You also may need to allocate more cache if you can. On an older system, it may take longer for mesh to rez for you. Can you see mesh buildings or clothing? If you can, then it may just be a matter of waiting for those bodies to finally rez for you.
  11. Anyone unironically using snowflake is outing themselves as a red-pill, 'normie' neck-beard. It's the Kevin James syndrome. The 'loveable' 'jokester' schlub who expects to land the hot wife ( like James' characters) with little to no effort on their part and a good dose of mysogny while bypassing non-trophy women as beneath them.
  12. Never. Ever. Tick. Off. Cupid. Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
  13. I know those PJs! So.. flap up or flap down? Inquiring minds want to know.. 😁
  14. There's a reason VVO's PRS section has a disclaimer. It isn't in Linden Lab's best interest to try to police such a section. They can't let it be like the wild west like Cris can.
  15. Just a thought, but if you found them in search, doesn't the people picker for AR's allow you to paste in their UUID from their profile?
  16. Or maybe jamming out to this sweet little song..
  17. First, I love that look, but it reminds me of an anime villain just about to monologue before going all cray cray😀
  18. If you're going mesh. as said before, demo demo demo. Especially with mesh heads. For bodies, Maitreya is where you'll get the most options for clothing and shoes. SLink and Belleza follow closely, but SLink has two different bodies and Belleza has three. That dilutes the pool, as it were, since many creators focus on one or two bodies. For heads, there are a ton of options, with Catwa and Lelutka in the lead as far as makeup and skins go. (Another option there is to look at shapes on MP to find a 'look' that suits you then try the shape demo with the head demo.) They all have their pros and cons, but usually the head is more expensive than the body. Take your time before you decide on a head.
  19. I changed heads to Lelutka Cate. I'm loving the expressions and this face feels more like me.
  20. Besides the other way already described, you can add the 'Phototools' button to your bottom button row in FS. It brings up all the photo helper tools. Right click on any button and select 'Toolbar Buttons' then drag Phototools to the quick bar. Easy peasy.
