  1. Nope. Abuse Reports are not shared. --Cinn
  2. The Knowledge Base can tell you. --Cinn http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Creating-managing-moderating-and-disbanding-groups/ta-p/700111
  3. Those are the friends who have allowed you to teleport to their location. Clicking on the name will give you the SLurl where they are located inworld. --Cinn
  4. Sounds like you have the Pink problem. Update your graphics card drivers --Cinn
  5. Yes, you can abandon your Linden Home and that will make 512sqm available to you to use for buying that land without increasing your monthly tier. Just make sure you abandon the LH first before buying the property. --Cinn
  6. If you had your land deeded to a group, you will need to go into that group and set your tier contribution to zero and then go to your Dashboard - Land Manager - Land Use Fees and set your tier to zero as well. --Cinn To know if land is deeded to a group and to which group, go to Land Manager - Group Land. That will list all your groups and if there is donated tier, it will list the amount donated next to the group name. Likewise, Land Manager - Land Use Fees will tell you if any of your land is donated.
  7. As far as I know, the only way to loose your Linden Home is to Abandon it using the About Land menu. First thing you should do is go to your Dashboard - Land Manager - My Mainland. See if your home is listed there. If it is, then you should be able to click on it and teleport there. If it is not, then you should seriously consider that maybe someone has your password and logged in to your account. You will need to decide how serious a situation that might be and act accordingly. Changing your password would be the obvious first step. --Cinn ETA: Irene makes a good point. You didn't actually say your home was a Linden Home!
  8. Have him look at Build - Options - Select My Own Objects If it is selected, then he should unselect it. That should help. --Cinn
  9. What you are referring to are gestures. Text, sound and animation. You can buy them by the hundred's or you can make your own. They are pretty simple to do. --Cinn http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Using-gestures-and-animations/ta-p/700069
  10. No. You can downgrade the premium account to basic and then upgrade the basic account to premium. That effectively accomplishes what you want to do. --Cinn
  11. Are you trying to fly between islands? Or are you using teleport? If you are trying to fly, you are probably hitting the sim walls because for the most part, there are no connections between islands. If you are trying to teleport, what message are you receiving? Use the Options - Edit to add information to your post. --Cinn
  12. Most likely due to the recent changes in privacy which disallows the display of personal information (viewer type) Recommend you go to the Phoenix website and get the most recent version of their viewer. I'm sure they've addressed this by now. --Cinn
  13. You have the option to Report Abuse when something like that occurs. It will then be up to LL to decide if there is a violation of their TOS or just a resident dispute. --Cinn
  14. Well if you don't report it via the Abuse Report, no one is going to do anything. Have you changed your password? The only way someone can use your account is to guess your password. If someone is logging into your account, you need to be taking action instead of posting here in the forums. --Cinn What to do if your account is compromised Your account may have been compromised if: You can't access your account. You suddenly notice a reduced available balance on the payment source you have on file. If this happens, contact us immediately! Here's what to do: Go to the Second LIfe Help page and log in if you can. If you can't access your account, use the Forgot your login information? link on the right to recover your username and reset your password. Then log in. On the Second LIfe Help page page, click the Contact Support link on the right. On the next page, click Submit a a Support Case form. Under What type of problem are you having?, select Account Issue. A second dropdown appears. Under Account Issue, select I believe my account has been compromised. Fill in the rest of the fields as directed. Click Submit. Check your email for your case number. Call our fraud number: 800-860-6990. Once you do this, Linden Lab will place your account on hold and investigate the relevant transactions. This may take a few days. Once we have concluded the investigation, we'll send you an email explaining our conclusion and the action we will take. Note that all transactions involving Linden dollars are subject to Linden Lab's Terms of Service.
  15. Sounds like you are over-heating the graphics card on the Sony. Best get yourself a cooling stand or find a better way to control the heat distribution. The more you overheat it, the sooner it will fail for good. --Cinn
  16. A Premium member can get a Linden Home whenever they feel like it. Or not. Not really sure how long they've been around. Maybe a year???? --Cinn
  17. The time/timezone displayed in the Viewer is always SL time which is Pacific Standard/Daylight Time. --Cinn
  18. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Account-credentials/ta-p/700017 Answers can be found there. --Cinn
  19. In the Build menu there is an Option called Select Only My Objects. If that is selected then when you click on someone else's object, the Edit windows will all be blank. --Cinn
  20. Did you download the latest Viewer? I believe it only currently appears in V3.3.0 --Cinn
  21. Along with the items Rolig mentioned, it could just be the simulator you are trying to get to is down. RC servers are being updated and restarted today and I'm not sure the process is going very well. My shop's sim has been down over an hour now. First message I got this morning was unable to connect to simulator as well Try logging into Pooley. That got me online. Now I'm sitting in the sim next to mine looking at a big hole in the grid! --Cinn
  22. Ignore it. And get a new boyfriend. You probably had pixal sex with someone who has an OnDuty part. These were designed as a marketing tool to get people to buy into a pregnancy roleplay. Bottom line, being pregnant in SL is a role play like being a vampire or a pirate. You can choose to play or you can choose to ignore and play something else. Your choice. --Cinn
  23. Well the 1000L is paid after 45 days of being a premium member. As far as the Linden Home, you need to check the About Land very carefully because the homes are very close together and it is easy to be looking at the wrong one. If you still can't figure it out, you can always use Live Chat for help since you are now a premium member. --Cinn
  24. Not quite sure what you mean by history? But: You can see all of the teleports you've made by day in Places - Teleport History You can see all the inventory transactions you've made in the last 30 day at Dashboard - Account - Transaction History And you can read all of your IM and chat logs assuming you save them using Me - Preferences - Privacy So that's a pretty good list of "history" you have access to. --Cinn
