Raw shots getting ready for a ship battle. My graphics were turned down a bit to make sailing smoother. This is my alt and evil twin Laura Dallin the pirate. It's also her ship the Helheim Tigre. Helheim is the name of a pirate crew and their Raven Flag is flying on the ship. This was the combined Antiquity fleet so some of the ships in the background are flying different flags.- 864 replies

Some of you old timers might remember a store called Pillow Talk. This is my Pillow Talk Apple Tree from October 6, 2009 This is the same tree today. And the dismount. The tree might look a bit primitive by today's standards but was amazing when I bought it .- 293 replies

Franks was sold last year so has new ownership. They kept the ball room open but closed some of the other venues. I did see a notice a week or so ago that the jazz club was reopening.

This might be true with BoM but years ago, before mesh, I spent a week where only I could see my system clothes including my alphas. I thought my friends were joking but they sent me pictures of my naked avie. I logged in an alt and she saw me naked as well while i was dressed normally on my own screen. This lasted until the next week when SL did it's weekly shutdown and update. I was able to wear a prim barrel and have people see it.

This reminds me of being in a canoe in a bayou outside of Houston and having a gator swim up next to us and swat the side of the canoe with his tail. I thought the guy I was with was going to stand up and tip us over. I could see the panic in his eyes. I told him it was just a log to calm him down and he believed me (or desperately wanted to believe me) and calmed down so we got back to shore.

completed face Bare Faced I don't remember the black on the inside of the lips. It makes me look like I don't have teeth without makeup.

It's Belly Dance Night! I just replaced my skybox boudoir with a Japanese style build which is the background of these pics. I slowed down the animation for my Arabian Drums Belly Dance instead of using a static pose. I think it came out fairly well.

Keeping with my recent Linden Sites theme here is Torley's Dinosaurs from May 21, 2009. I think i was doing a tour of Linden Sites in May 2009. Here is the same site today. I should have turned up my draw but you can see the important things. -
I don't understand what you mean here. Wordsworth wasn't talking about sexualizing anything. His friend had asked him why he was sitting by a lake watching the world go by instead of being productive and reading a book to enlighten himself. You quote part of his answer, that he was enlightening himself by observing nature. I don't see this as "Typical male, 18th century thinking" except that it is a good example of the Romantic movement. The Romantics might blame nature for a lot of behavior but, in this poem, he's not doing what you describe.

Out of curiosity, what ship is that? It looks a bit like an RSS Mercury but the rigging has some differences.

In May 2009 I discovered the ANWR prim drilling platform. It is a Linden, I believe pre-mole, built location. The source of all the prims that were all we had to build the world with back then. ANWR is still going today. Those unused prims must really be building up somewhere.- 293 replies

It's time for my every two weeks Belly Dance pictures. I caught one at the dance itself but I did crash 3 times before i got it. It was just too busy there.
