  1. May 21, 2009 This is the famous Beanstalk made by Steller Sunshine in 2003. (To the right of the tree with the wide trunk) One of the oldest objects created by a resident in Second Life. It is here in the Destination Guide. Climbable Beanstalk Here it is today.
  2. There are three threads for pics of avatars. the Vanity Thread has been around since 2011 so is much older than either of these. I see no reason to close or merge any of them. You shouldn't post the same pic in more than one place but that hasn't been that common and isn't a reason to close down a popular thread.
  3. If i remember right this was a pose with 4 linked poseballs but this was 13 years ago. It could have been from Tuty's.
  4. Two pictures of my first group of friends in SL. Emerald, Sandrine, me, and Clublane. Em and Clubbie are no longer in SL. Sandrine has been my partner since January 2007. This pic is late 2007. And no this is not two different windlights since windlight didn't exist yet. It's just two different time settings.
  5. I never attacked you. The quote you referenced above was not even directed at you but at the person who said, I quoted them and you were not mentioned. They only posted the quote I just gave nothing else. It was purely a personal attack. But again, it was not you and I was not addressing you in the above quote. The rest of that post was again my opinion on the subject at hand. But to reiterate. This was never directed at you but at the person I responded to who posted in response to my earlier post to you. My only response to you was the thank you emoji in the post where you said, I hardly think disagreeing with your opinion then thanking you is a reason to call me a natural jackass. I didn't take anything you said personally until now.
  6. Good advice. You should take it. This is suppose to be a forum for discussion. I was discussing the topic. You are just attacking. Doom and gloom is unwarranted at this point. People who care should keep an eye out on what's going on at the Lab but that's always been true. There is no reason to think these investors are any more likely to close SL than the venture capitalist who have owned the Lab until now. I'm surprised they haven't taken their profits before now and they had to sell their interest in order to take profits from their investment. Now is the natural time to sell since SL is on a high point due to RL issues. It's also the natural time for long term investors to buy.
  7. YOU were assuming. I was pointing out with facts why I think you are wrong. Other people reading your comment might not know the history of Tillia since it was much more behind the scenes until recently. I answered you more for them than for you.
  8. Tillia was created several years ago so doubtful it was with this acquisition in mind. It's recently become more visible. It was created to meet the requirements of United States Financial regulations. LL hopes to sell it's services to other environments that use micro-transactions but don't wish to go through the process for meeting those financial regulations. This might be the value seen by these investors for purchasing a controlling interest in Linden Research. In the meantime, SL is more profitable than Tillia and also the source of Tillia's profit.
  9. I went to a day late 4th of July party with fireworks. Here's how I looked.
  10. I wouldn't say "no-one complained." This is SL, someone ALWAYS complains.
  11. The Clublane Skyport March/April 2008 Along with my collection of blimps, balloons and other flying devices.
  12. I'm texturing some hostess uniforms for a friend. This is not only a raw shot but the uniform before I'v made any changes.
