  1. I'm a little surprised that no one has pointed out yet that before we can release something, we have to build it first. Namely the regions themselves. Once those appear on the map you'll know it is actually getting closer to release. We will still have to spend some time checking them over and preparing them for occupancy before any of them can actually be released, but until you see that happen you can logically assume that any release of the new theme is still a ways off.
  2. If the radio was "Made for Bellisseria" they may have left it non transferable. Since Linden Homes parcels cannot be deeded to a group, there is no need to deed the radio to work on those parcels. It only needs to be owned by the parcel owner.
  3. 8 meters between parcels is the standard minimum we've tried to hold to across most of the themes in Bellisseria. More if we can, less only if necessary.
  4. If you mean ban lines around the parcel he's been banned from, yes.
  5. Orbs that automatically add people to the parcel ban list are against the covenant for this very reason. Unfortunately we are not able to remove people from a ban list once they are on it. The owner of the parcel would have to do that. Residents can always choose to add anyone they wish to their parcel ban list for whatever reason or even no reason at all, they just cannot use an orb to do it for them automatically. Removing people from the list is by their discretion. Honestly, the best way to proceed might be for your friend to message the neighbor and ask if they would be kind enough to take them off the list... that as their neighbor they respect their privacy, have no ill intent and just don't want to have to see the ban lines... keeping in mind the person can always decline the request or chose not to respond at all. 😟
  6. What if I told there is already adult outdoor furniture all over Bellisseira and it's being used... but no one notices or cares because the persons doing so are discrete about it... mostly due to it being an M rated region.
  7. No matter how well it is written a covenant you have, it will never be enough if it has to delve deep into minutia open to interpretation. That's how the nightmare begins, rather than where it ends.
  8. People have been arguing what does or does not constitute a definition "pornography" for centuries, and will continue to do so. And down the rabbit hole we go.
  9. I cannot give you one. I'm not in Governance.
  10. The question everyone should probably be asking themselves really is "What would an adult Linden Homes area probably look like? And would I want to live there?" It's an enticing prospect when you think about the things you could do. It is another when you think about what those around you could (or probably would) do. Remember that Linden Homes are a neighborhood community with many people in close proximity. "You do you and I do me" doesn't always work in an environment like that. Thinking about your neighbors is written into the covenant. In an adult environment where the general idea is "anything goes", are people likely to hold to that concept or are they more likely simply pepper the outsides of their yards with BDSM furniture, animesh figures engaging in activities and other graphic displays of an adult nature simply because they feel they can now and neighbors be damned? Would it really look like Bellisseria or would it look like a red light district? Be careful what you wish for. People are always gonna people.
  11. The problem with black/white clearly specific definitions is they can never be clear or specific enough. If the rule is nudity is allowed but being a state of arousal is not, that will only lead to questions of just how much angle to the dangle constitutes an aroused state. Once you go down that rabbit hole it never really ends. Certain vagaries leaving some things open to interpretation to a degree causes people to err on the side of caution rather than looking for a loophole.
  12. Let's try to keep the topic the point of discussion, not people. Ad Hominem is a logical fallacy in discussions like this one and is only going to inflame, escalate, and end up with the thread being locked.
  13. This is correct. The system doesn't track which parcels you previously owned. It only looks to see if there is an available parcel. If all the parcels are taken until you abandon yours and then try to get a home in the same theme, it will likely assign you that one again if it is the only one available.
  14. On a related note, many people are under the impression that land adjacent to a void on the grid (an area with no region at all) is "protected". It is not. The Lab may decide to place a region there at some point, so those "open water views" are not guaranteed. It may not be likely (especially on mainland), but it is possible. We most often run into this situation when we bring up new regions in Bellisseria and people are shocked to find their house by the "sea" is no longer beachfront. 😣
  15. Not saying we would never make the content packs available to everyone, or just premium rather than to just the home owner... but there is a reason we did it the way we did in case anyone is wondering. The content packs are sent from our own server rather than from a simple giver object like in the original homes. That makes it convenient for residents who get their home so they don't have to teleport someplace else to get one while still allowing us to be able to update the content inside the packs themselves quickly and easily from a single central location. We decided to limit it to the person who owned the home to prevent mass spamming of the server and KVP from people just looking to collect freebies with no intention of ever having a Linden Home. Overloading the server could severely delay deliveries while overloading the KVP could break not only the content pack deliveries, but house rezzing, the houses themselves, the LH security systems... pretty much everything we use in Bellisseria that relies on that KVP.
  16. We hoped people would understand that it is a WIP and not just assume we wouldn't see it.
  17. As we keep pointing out, these still are all unfinished models... works in progress to give a general idea of what the final product will look like. That particular one was an older version model. We were already well aware of that gap and it had already been addressed and fixed.
  18. That off region mountain and void water is not part of the theme. The demo region is just an example of one region of many. It will have similar ones connected to it, same as always.
  19. This all reminds me of something. When my father was designing the house I grew up in he showed the blueprints to my mother. She said, "I don't like it." He said, "Okay, let me try something else." He went back and came back with another house but had drawn in mullions, a nice detailed door, some curtain's hanging in the windows, added some shading, shingles to the roof, light fixtures, etc. She took one look and said, "Oh! Now, that I like!" It was the exact same design. True story.
  20. I always preferred Malvina Reynolds' version myself.
  21. The houses are still Work In Progress... we're making them a little "more in progress" just to make them more representative of what the final product will be.
  22. *Privacy walls or fences should match the theme and extend no more than 4m above ground level. All other structures should not extend higher than 15m above ground level or sea level, whichever is higher. -The Linden Homes Covenant (Revised 04 May 2021)
