    Faun Legs

Isn't there like an alpha layer or invisi something that hides your real legs so you can wear the faun legs like an exaggerated shoe or something? edit: ok and also if you haven't had to before, you can right click on the legs and choose edit which will produce arrows of three different colors, the blue one will move your legs up and down so you can position it where you want, is this what you meant?
  3. Your user name is gonna be the same. Entity Lorakeet. Your password is the same. Just make sure caps is off. edit to add, for what its worth, I use a V2 viewer and my user name is Charolotte Caxton, I just tried charolotte.caxton and it works also also on V2 if someone is a new resident, they don't have to type in resident, just their user name. I think the last name of resident has to be used on some older viewers that require a first and last name but the new names don't have last names so resident is the placeholder they use in its stead.
  4. Hi Dayna, no one is really going to notice your issue here because this question has already been marked answered, I suggest you post a new question so that everyone can address your issue specifically.

  9. Hi Ms. Yardley, I don't often sleep in SL, for me my time inworld is more often like a waking dream, but occasionally the need for a nap does strike. Here is one that I was able to capture a while back.
  10. More than likely your inventory has not completely downloaded. Go to Me > Preferences > Setup and hit the Reset button. Log out then log back in. Go to a place where there is like nobody around and open your Inventory > Recent tab. Wait for it to stop fetching. You should then see your missing stuffs.
  11. This happened back in April 21st, back then it was because of some system update or some such, recently folks have been talking about a slow world and the release of the newest viewer update so I would imagine there is a lot of technical turmoil going on so I would hold off for a bit and try again later. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/forums/searchpage/tab/message?q=policy+change

  16. Good morning Mayalily. I cannot imagine a scenario in which a Microsoft software update would correlate with your second life birthday as the two are hypothetically unrelated, unless you had one heck of a rezzday party . At this point I would venture to guess that your system may be outdated based on the level of issues you are having. Now there are several things you could do that could help your current system hobble along, if it is indeed a low performer. Among them would be to run SL at low settings and update your video cards if they are even supported still. A good next step for you to do now would be to go to your login screen and without logging in, click on help at the top and then About Second Life. You will now have a screen that shows your systems relevant information and the option to copy that information to a clipboard. You can then come to this post, hit reply, and paste that info here. Then everyone can see what it is you are dealing with and give you suggestions based off of that. K?
  17. Try left clicking somewhere inworld first, then try using the letters.
  18. Read these solutions, basically you need to clear cache. Note the ones marked answered with a green check. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/forums/searchpage/tab/message?q=vfs
  19. Go to your profile, click edit profile. Next to your picture it should say change or add. Click that then choose and upload a picture. Remember to hit save when you are done.
  20. There is no SL police and only you can cancel your account, unless of course it is someone pretending to be you and they have stolen your identity.
  21. It seems to be a poor internet connection possibly, read these answers with the green check marks. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/forums/searchpage/tab/message?q=crashing+when+teleporting
  22. Could you have switched your camera controls from rear view to front view possibly?
  23. The avatars you see that are kinda not dancing much, avatar imposters. Its in your graphics setting. Basically it means that your computer isn't going to waste what precious graphics capabilities it has on those peeps that are too far away, its actually set to a certain number that you can adjust. I keep mine set to 12, you might need to keep yours at 2. That means the 2 avatars closest you will appear relatively normal, while the rest will look dorky. You can of course increase this number, but at the sacrifice of performance.
