  1. How did you do that? When I try to upload a video, I only see youtube as an option.  YouTube Video URL Please enter a YouTube URL. The URL format is 'http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abc123', where 'abc123' is the ID of a YouTube video that you can embed.

  3. Hi :) So I experimented with making my first video and now I am completely baffled as how to upload it to youtube so that I can post it here. I tried reading the youtube forums and now I am more confused. My video is AVI format. When I try to upload it to youtube it sits at 0% uploaded forever. I have tried a video that is under 2GB and also one that was over 2GB with the advanced uploader. Same results. Advice? Thank you :)

  5. Hi, I am going to give you the standard answer which usually works. You need to manually clear your cache. For whatever reason, your inventory is not loading from the servers to you. To clear cache first enable view hidden folders by going to your control panel, folder options, view, show hidden files and folders. Then go to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\SecondLife and delete the contents of that folder. Then go to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\SecondLife and delete the contents of that folder. Go back to control panel, folder options, view, don't show hidden files and folders. Restart your computer. Log in to SL under advanced mode. Open your inventory recent tab and wait for it to stop fetching. Once your inventory has completely loaded, you should see everything there. In the instructions I just gave you, if you are using Phoenix or some other viewer, unless you have substituted the default location for the cache, substitute SecondLife with Phoenix or whatever viewer you are using.

  7. danteNyro, did you actually log in? When I checked in my login screen, if I open the Me menu, Preferences, the drop down menu is not there, exactly as you described. Log in under advanced mode, not basic, its under mode on the login screen next to the log in button. Then open your Me > Preferences menu.

  16. Try disabling HTTP textures in your develop menu. Develop menu = ctrl-alt-q
  17. Ensure you have logged in under advanced mode as opposed to basic mode.
  18. Also make sure you have logged in under advanced mode, not basic. Its on the login screen under mode next to the login button.
