We're saving Louisiana for the ADULT Linden Home continent that I'm going to start a petition for! Imagine the parades we could have!

Wasn't there a thread or comment somewhere from someone who owns one of the regions in the area where expansion might be needed that volunteered to let their region be moved? Things could certainly be finagled around to allow the growth needed. I'd sort of hate to see it end up being split into two continents.

I do think a lot of the empty ones you see, the ones without skyboxes, were probably possibly snapped up in the very beginning. Remember, the first release had homes available for two days before they were gone and there wasn't such madness around it. I got mine that way and ended up loving everything about it. I'm guessing a lot of people got one just because, and possibly have absolutely no idea there is a mad rush for them now. Word spread those first couple of days through a lot of groups, a lot of people who don't usually look at the forums or blogs. I could be wrong, but... it's possible.

I'm honestly not sure. I have no idea what the actual capacity is of Bellisseria as a finished product, and if they'll expand or do something different, or what after it's full. I'm sure there are plans being made with the demand being so high, but who knows what it could be. All I know is that they have promised to keep building until the demand is met.

Absolutely working this into my vocabulary going forth!

A lot of people actually are saying that. "Just copy and paste some of the regions already built. No one will notice." I don't have the patience to dig through the 50 or so complaint threads to pull the exact quotes, but they are definitely out there.

Hmm... that's a good point. I wonder just how far it can be pushed before we get a Linden in here (rightly) fussing at us for pushing the boundaries. Wanker. Bollocks. Fanny. (Forgive me, Linden Forum Gods! I was provoked... kind of!) (giggling madly)

Boy, did we interpret that in different ways! I saw it as him trying to be somewhat diplomatic and not get people even angrier while also saying no way in hell to the list.

The skies above Bellisseria over 2,000 meters make for some interesting sightseeing while flying.

I consider "Let It Be" the greatest song ever written in the history of the world. Also, I rarely listen to it and will turn it off or leave a room when I hear it start to play. It's the one song I never, ever want to get sick of so I only allow myself to listen on very super special occasions and only when I know I've got a good hour or so free to ugly cry. It's maybe once every couple years. I was a freaking mess when I saw Paul perform it live a few years ago. #sentimentalgoofball

I was more referring to clothing, etc., but whatever. If I were renting, yeah, SL might be getting a nice little chunk from that, and has over the years. I'm STILL happy to be paying them for use of their platform and all the enjoyment I get from it above and beyond that. Would still be happy to pay four times what I'm currently playing in addition to all the lindens I spend. You do you, and I'll do me.

Eh, I want them to have the full amount of what I put into SL specifically for them, not just a slim cut after whoever else takes theirs.

I know I'll get shouted down and/or mocked for this, but I think it's really sad that no one thinks that paying for premium is just a nice way to pay LL for the platform they've provided us. It's all me, me, me. LL is a business, and it would hurt me, and a lot of other people, greatly if they went out of business. Right now, I'm paying 27 cents a day for my premium account. They could quadruple it and I'd be pretty chill about it. Whatever the super premium costs, I'm already planning on upgrading not matter what the benefits are. That's not what it's about for me. It's about keeping one of my favorite businesses from shutting their doors. #unapologeticpollyanna4lyfe
