So, in the middle of the largest recession the world has seen, people somehow have found thousands of extra money to buy and pay the monthly fees for the latest phone? I really don't see how a phone, which can not utilize SL to its fullest, will ever replace a PC. It is not possible to even come close to the storage, power or program capabilities that a PC has with a phone. That's like saying that a phone that has a camera will kill off Nikon and Cannon. Sorry, i use my phone to make calls and text occasionally. My 10MP camera for pictures and my HD video camera for movies. oh yeah.. and my PC for everything else. My wife has a laptop she uses for SL, and my PC for Word, Excel, music and movies. Can you stream music to SL from a phone while inworld on a text based viewer? Doubt it, how much music can a phone store? Why even bother to use a text viewer? SL is all about the images. So, to answer your question. No, the PC is not becoming extinct.

Hmm.. I joined SL for RP, so i guess I am what you would call a "Whatsit" as in "what's it today?" I can't think of anything i haven't changed. I also can't think of a single species that i haven't been. I also have a female av for my designs. So that lets out a different sex as well. I'm just here for the fun. @Dana.. There are a shortage of perfect asses in this world, it would be a shame to change yours.

Personally i avoid purchasing from resellers like the plague. My reasons: 1, I don't want to give someone a cut for nothing. 2, If there is an issue, I have to hunt down the original maker and try and get them to fix it. 3, 99% of the time the vendor is a lag monster and i have to stand there waiting for textures to load. 4, Resellers do nothing but promote staleness in SL. try your hand and create something!!! But, those are my opinions, and I wish you nothing but the best of luck in your venture.

I did not realize there was a TV station in SL. How does one access it? My inworld TV plays movies and music... not shows from within SL. Could you give a bit more info?
