I ended up needing to use a version of a dagger *without* straps to actually line it up, I wanted a "scout carry" and it was designed to hang from the hip, so getting it to lay across the back of my hips... Well, good to see I'm not the only one who obsesses about parts lining up the way they should XD

My current low LI build, needed to keep the resources for my loft in the skybox, and I've gone down from half a region to an 1120 parcel so my private room eats almost everything available to me here. Have to keep the sugar growing, though, or I couldn't make more wine

I never listen to that... The skin I have on my River head is supposed to be for Avalon, and the one I have on Ceylon was made for Eon, the skin I wear most days (and is in most of my pictures, though not the last one on the Chocobo, posted here) is actually a male one but looks perfect (to me, at least) when applied to my female EvoX face.

Pretty different look from normal, but the outfit looked good as part of the Chocobo Express GTFO courier route up the length of Satori to drop a package at HQ.

I actually wear male clothes rigged for Maitreya Flat, which has a bit less support but seems to work *much* better than V-Tech, since so few places rig "Petite" and I'd rather have no boobs than "normal" SL ones... Plus, for the lack of options men have, they actually get a whole shirt when they buy something rather than the tattered remnants of what looks like it once *may* have been clothes that wouldn't be beyond embarrassing to be seen in public wearing.

It makes me very sad that this part doesn't work with "Petite" as well as the "normal" Lara body. I would be all over that in a heartbeat to work on the phoenix avatar I want to make.

Did a little shopping at Neo Japan, then went hunting for a decent dojo to take a picture in, actually found this place in an "adult" sim called Slow Fall and I have to say it looks better (and has a nicer layout) than any other I've seen so far. Their EEP is pretty bad, though, so I used "Fog Lifting" to close in the area outside where the cherry trees would be just visible through the fog without it being too dark.

6 FPS up from 2-3 FPS, so... I don't think anyone would argue that is playable XD My GPU died, so I'm playing CPU only, with dd 32 and medium graphics (I need advanced lighting to see if my avatar is messed up, I look terrible with it off due to parts I have equipped) I can get 20ish FPS most places which is fine to explore and interact with others. Though I'm more forgiving than most, especially since I normally hard cap FPS at 30 to save battery life when I'm on the road, so I'm used to "low FPS" even when I had a fully functional PC.

Ooh, turned over to my photo mode preset today... About 2.5X the FPS from before the update with dull water reflections and projector shadows turned on. Still completely unplayable at those settings, but not a total slideshow with the latest update.

Yeah, when I cam in to see what was so important after getting knocked out of my vehicle, I usually decide their put up ban lines out of sheer embarrassment XD This: I'm sure quite a few of those obviously abandoned and banlined parcels are lifetime accounts, though I mean people have made comments about not knowing they had a Netflix account after paying for it for years, so I guess not everyone watches their balance and says "Where is this money disappearing to?"

They should let you have *one* free, since the new "Resident" account is like a demo, then charge you through the nose after. You get one free if you sign up as premium, but if you sign up free you have to pay premium and $40, so a perk of joining premium should be a single name change.

Okay... Think I got it. It seems that it's some sort of issue with the V Bento. When I swapped to my kitsune this wasn't happening, I need to remove that part because the tail is bento, so this "outfit" is Barbie-style down there rather than covered with clothes. I have facial animations turned off for it, but I guess it's ignoring that, and stuck in an "O Face" from last night. Might have to do a total redeliver of my "bits" here.

Heh, don't sue one of those, though I was tied up in a Sadiana item with bento facial animations last night... But I have cleared everything, and even got back on it and killed all bento animations in the menu, which closed my mouth *while* it was doing *that* and then went straight back to this. Nope, only gestures I have are shortcuts to chat commands, nothing animated to play on that front. Usually just doing a "reset skeleton and animation fixes things, do that a lot when I swap between monster or animal bodies to get rid of the Beetlejuice face, but nothing (not even the "stop all animation" item for especially stubborn ones) is killing it. It kills ten animations from my AOs, but this just keeps going. Heck, I even tried killing RLV in case there was something forcing me to make faces, but nothing changed.

Yeah, the LeLUTKA HUD shows none playing, but wouldn't swapping heads have fixed it if that were the issue? I tried two LeLUTKA heads and one Catwa, all three were doing this.

Tried resetting animations, tried removing every attachment, tried logging completely out, even tried switching heads... Still doing this:

I like the realism aspect, I'd love to have mirrors reflect things even if only for someone with a beastly PC or set to photo mode, though I've seen some setups where things were flipped on their side for photos and a pool of water was used with full reflections turned on. Sadly that only seems to work with Linden Water, so you need to be low enough in altitude and have access to terraforming, then build something that is set for static poses only... Much easier, at that point, just to take a photo and texture a prim than to get real reflections going. Just a drop, not a total tank? Though I suppose I have reflections and projector shadows set to turn on in the same profile so, when both pop in at once, that's going to destroy FPS.

I think the most likely fix for this would be groups that own the land and pay tier via donations from members, but you'd need people who kept premium up and maintained the donations so Linden labs didn't reclaim part of the network when the tier came due because people pulled out and left the group without sufficient allotment to maintain the lands needed.

A homestead is plenty for a home, though the prim allowance on them is low for anything with a lot of shared spaces, I had more LI available on a quarter region mainland than I did on my Homestead for less cost than renting a private space. The public gym I hosted took up about 2500 LI, so that would eat half a Homestead all on its own, get into the shops and the little bistro and pub with a game room and I ran about 6k LI with some kept open so vehicles could pass onto my area from the Linden Road. There's also the limits to consider, a Homestead will hold fewer (1/5 the total number, limited to 20 instead of 100) avatars and will run slower than a full sim, so if you're making some kind of sex dungeon where you expect to have a cadre of "high quality" slaves in their little padded cells it's going to chew through the Homestead resources fast.
