  1. Moles don't eat carrots. Voles eat carrots.
  2. More outdoor space with a smaller house, might mean there is not mush room inside! Sorry, pathetic I know, but I couldn't resist it.
  3. Oh yes, the Campers and Log Homes regions are quite stunning. I don't live in either of them, but I do go horse riding there, except when some people are out riding crazy dragons. Don't let your dragon eat my horse!
  4. This place is fun. Well done the Moles, though, when I heard all the screaming, wailing and sounds of things being broken, I thought it was a regular team meeting of the Moles!
  5. A huge, global event, has been taking place in London, with the internet taking a severe pounding. Could it not just be that?
  6. It will be interesting to see, where the under construction railway line, from Sakura station in Shobu, to Kodokuna Josei, will go. To the south, is open sea and I don't see anywhere that railway lines can be put, in existing Sakura regions. Do you think Sakura will get an underground rail system?
  7. This is a very interesting question, not just for alts, but for anyone who wants to handover a home to someone else. If your main account submits a Linden Home Premium Plus request ticket and explains the alt account will abandon when Support are ready to allocate, it will be interesting to know what the answer will be. There is still the concern that the place will be allocated automatically, to someone, between abandoning and re-allocation, unless Support have a way of blocking that.
  8. I know you are not doing a user name change, but if you look at the name change FAQs, it tells you how to save your viewer settings. This is because, if you do a name change, you also lose viewer settings, if you don't save them. If what is posted below is not enough, there is more detail in the FAQS. Finding your settings folder in Windows The folder is usually located at C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming. If you install Second Life in a different location, the path is different. In any case, to get to the right place: In Windows Explorer, click the Start Button. In the search field, type %appdata% and press Enter ↵. In Windows 7, it's labeled "Search programs and files" In Windows 10, you can access it by right-clicking the Start Button and choosing Search In the window that appears, open the SecondLife folder. Inside the Second Life folder, right-click the user_settings folder and choose Copy Navigate to a different folder (or directory) and click Paste. (You can also right-click on your Desktop and paste the folder there, which can make it easier to find later). Repeat this process for your avatar name folder. Your folder will be named something like governor.linden. For simplicity, copy this folder to the same location you used for the user_settings folder.
  9. S U N D A Y and my house just got delivered. How lovely is that? I will tell you. That is so lovely 😄
  10. That sounds excessive and intrusive. I can't think it would be approved of by LL. Not sure how they can be stopped, though.
  11. One of them visits where I live, on a daily basis. The security system ejects them, but it is quite startling to suddenly see someone appear!
  12. Thanks, but I understood that people can choose to hide their profile, so it would not appear here? It is under the privacy options.
  13. The Premium Plus name change option is achieved by submitting a support ticket. There is a list to choose from, for last names, so that is fine. The problem is where the first and last name combination is already taken, you wont get the name change granted. Is there a way we can check the availability of first and last name combination, before submitting a support ticket?
  14. Do you think the "Rouge'' will be reserved for Premium Plus, or it will be a generally available new house design theme?
  15. Patch Linden did just post an addendum to the covenant for Newbrooke.
  16. Now, we are either going to get a Newbrooke Vigilante Group, or you are going to get everyone asking where you bought your shoes and skirt.
  17. Hmm. How did I miss them. OK I'm off to the optician for a pair of specs. Oh and I want your hat.
  18. My doggy noticed that there aren't any street lamps! Still, at least that means they wont shine in to your bedroom at night 😀
  19. Although moles cannot run fast above the ground, they have the ability to dig tunnels underground very fast, at a speed of up to 15 feet per hour and 65 feet in a day.
  20. I use the official LL Viewer and my experience is that all friend requests and group invitations, when received offline, always fail. Friend requests and group invitations, when received online, sometimes fail, so another attempt is necessary. I don't know if the online failure is connected with the problem of the offline failure, but this bug has been around for a long time and I do hope it will get fixed, soon.
  21. @Linden LabPlease recognise this problem and post something on the status page
  22. Since the last rolling restarts, I have been experiencing inventory issues. It takes an age to attach/detach clothes and BOMs. Rezzing takes an age. Derezzing takes an age. Additionally, I get error messages, like unable to create item in inventory and cannot derezz object due to inventory fault I bought an item inworld, in a store, it was kinda delivered, because I got the delivery message, but then it disappeared in to the ether because I got the unable to create item in inventory message. I relogged and then got a redelivery from the redelivery terminal and that all worked. I don't know if this is a viewer problem or server problem, but as I am not experiencing any other viewer problems, I am guessing it is server based and as I said, it started following the last rolling restarts. I use Second Life Release 6.5.2.567427 (64bit) viewer. Anyone else experiencing problems? Thank you.
