Join group if receive offline invite not work
Kaleb Nightingale replied to Mya Vanilla's topic in Second Life Server
As far as I am aware, a partial fix was implemented. For an offline group invitation to work, you need to accept it within 24 hours of it being sent and you need to accept it at the same place that you log in to. That means, don't move when you log in, just accept the group invitation. If it is older than 24 hours, then it wont work! I think this applies to offline friend requests, too. There is another topic somewhere in the forums and this information was provided by a Linden. I think I am remembering the answer correctly. -
Re-sizing
Kaleb Nightingale replied to Kaleb Nightingale's topic in General Second Life Tech Discussion
Thank you, thank you @Ardy Lay and @Rowan Amore Yes that was unticked, so you sorted it for me. I didn't even know what that actually did, so I have learnt something too! -
I used to be able to change the size of things and the texture did not then look wrong. Yesterday, I tried to change the size of this carpet and the texture did not stay the same. I tried it with a rug and the same thing happened. I never had this problem before. I use Second Life Release 6.6.11.579154 (64bit). Any advice would be appreciated, as I now have no clue how to successfully re-size. I have attached 2 pics to better explain what is happening. Thank you.

Yes I have noticed textures being slow to load. That is all textures, BoM, clothing, objects and avatars rezzing. It does seem to revolve around time of SL day, so when it is midnight and early hours of the morning, SL time, the issue seems worse. I am using the LL Viewer, Second Life Release 6.6.11.579153 (64bit).

The balloons are really satellites, accompanying the alien spaceships. Seen in Sakura too. Be scared. Be very scared.

Right Click "Wear Items"
Kaleb Nightingale replied to Charalyne Blackwood's topic in Second Life Viewer
Thanks, but I use the LL Viewer. -
I think the exterior of the houses are fine. The internal furnishing points made here, are valid. It can be difficult to marry the interior furnishings to the overall design of the fantasy regions. For me, I would live there if the coloured crystals and the big mushrooms were removed. The rest looks pretty good.

Right Click "Wear Items"
Kaleb Nightingale replied to Charalyne Blackwood's topic in Second Life Viewer
There is something I don't understand. For me, I do always use add, when I don't select the wrong option! For some items, add is not an option. The only option is wear and sometimes, the only way to remove that item is by wearing a different one. So, for example, my brows shape only allows wear. I cannot remove it, I can only replace it with another brows shape. There are other examples. If wear was removed, how will it work for those things I have, that only allows wear? -
Thank you Kadah, but fortunately, they were copy items, so following the answer from @Alwin Alcott I just rezzed them again. I knew there were updates going on, but, stupidly, I assumed I was living on a main region and not an RC region. There is no logic to my assumption, apart from thinking that residential regions are all main and not RC. Lesson learnt!

With the rollback that just happened, is it possible that items that had been newly rezzed, would then disappear? I rezzed some items yesterday, but they seem to have disappeared, when I logged in this morning. They are copy, so no problem there, but I am just trying to work out if it is just my viewer can't see them or the rollback actually caused them to disappear. Thanks for any comments.

This probably covers your question

That is so funny. I was using words like that when I was 6 years old. Why would it ever need to be more than G rated?
