With the new plan, comes the news for Europeans, that all plans will no longer have VAT added to the plan cost. That is a very big give from LL. Oh and land tier costs have been reduced.

The LL Viewer uploads free pics from your PC, to the new legacy profiles. Whirly already said that the next Firestorm release will be switching over to the new legacy profiles.

Just to say that, when translating from some languages in to english, that will come through in the third person. One knows (😉) that using the third person is rather an old way of speaking english, but english is a very dynamic language, compared to some other languages.

The new profiles in the LL Viewer, does have a small issue with links, which has a JIRA. This is not directly related to the new profiles, but when using in-world search, it doesn't open the new profiles but links to web based profiles. https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/BUG-232619 This is being worked on and the latest from Kyle Linden is this - Hello Olivier, Thank you for the report, we were finally able to reproduce this issue with a fresh install of Second Life and do seem to have figured out what is happening after your latest feedback. All web browsers default to what one would expect to be the URL for Second Life Search, https://search.secondlife.com However Second Life viewers actually rely on a slightly different version of Search to link directly to the relevant floaters in the viewer. https://search.secondlife.com/viewer The quick fix is to 'chat' https://search.secondlife.com/viewer into local chat and then right-click on the link and select Open in Internal Browser. Once you have done this in the Second Life viewer it will set a cookie to keep using the /viewer/ version of Search. NOTE: If you open that link in your external web browser you will also be locked into using the Viewer based search and that will require you clear you browsers site data for 'search.secondlife.com' in order to use the Web browser intended search interface. Please watch future release notes for an update on this issue being resolved. Thanks!

Yes, I noticed there can be a delay, with the new in-world profiles updating the web accessed one. It used to be quite long, but lately, it is updating more quickly and at times, immediately. I do love the new in-world profile format in the LL Viewer. This is the viewer version I am using - Second Life Release 6.6.5.575257 (64bit) Is there any purpose of the access to the web based my.secondlife.com continuing?

Nope. I use the LL Viewer and it is free to upload a pic from my PC to my profile. Always has been. I do it a lot. Just tried again and upload photo from PC, change photo using inventory texture and remove photo, all free.

Uploading a new profile pic to your profile in-world is free. There is no charge, whether it is from your in-world inventory or from your PC.

I do not recognise that menu and its options. I use the LL viewer. Perhaps this is a different viewer?

The group invitations failing, when offline, was a problem that was fixed in an update, some time ago.

I also updated to 6.6.4.574885 (64bit) and from in world search, the profile link is still sending me to mysecondlife.com and not to the in world profile. As suggested by @MoiraKathleenI filed a JIRA.

This is the viewer I am using - Second Life Release 6.6.4.574724 (64bit) Since this week, when I use in-world search and click on someone's entry to see their full profile, the link takes me out of SL to the web based profile and not the in-world profile. This didn't happen before. Has there been an update and I need to change my settings, somewhere? This viewer is the one with the new in-world profiles. Thanks for any help.

Hello. I know that if I add someone as admin to the control panel, then they can open doors, but they can also do whatever else they want, to the house. I don't mean deliberately, but accidents can happen! Is there a way that I can allow people to open/close doors, but not add them as admin? Thank you for any help.

I am only getting 3 choices of a Linden Home per 24 hours, not 5. Did this change? Also, I noticed a name change is now available for all levels of membership, with different prices per level.

I became a premium plus member and follow this I heard that Premium Plus members can request specific Linden Homes for themselves. Is this true? Yes, it is! Premium Plus members can request a specific Linden Home, as long as the home is not occupied and they do not currently have another Linden Home. To do so, Premium Plus members can request a Linden Home by submitting a support ticket (click Submit A Ticket on the top right of this page!) and choose the Issue Type of Land & Region with the subtype of Linden Homes. So I did this and none of the options said here are available on the support ticket drop down. All they ofer is account issue options. I so wish I did not pay for premium plus.
