  1. When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie... That's amore. They never clarified just HOW big the pizza pie was.
  2. Pheeby, careful. The void stares back. Usually in the form of empty profiles. Or ones with incorrectly attributed quotes.
  3. Being talked to? A lot? Apparently my quip in the profile of "If you talk to me, you'll scare me-" or something to that effect, really just incites people to IM me. I don't mind, but it sure is confusing personally. I've had more conversations in the past three days than I've had in months, and the opener for people is usually "Boo!" or "Why are you such a scaredy cat?" and it goes from there. Beats me why it works. I honestly wish it worked less.
  4. Everyone here has made more eloquent and thoughtful posts than me, but I'm going to try to anyways. You were always a refreshing sight to see on the forums, though I never had the pleasure of catching you in-world. Thoughtful, and always interesting. I hope your health treats you well, and that you find comfort and peace in whatever direction you decide to take yourself.
  5. Pheeby! Stop ghoul-ing around Arkham! In seriousness, nice to see you post again.
  6. Got inspired by @CherryChantal and her lovely posts. The idea of literal portraits was too interesting to not try myself.
  7. Love First Aid Kit. I was thinking of linking Wolf, so I might as well.
  8. Popping in here to say, these looks are adorable, guys. Love them! (Also, Missy, I think the blue eyes add a cute contrast to the pink, but either would work!)
  9. Helping folks troubleshoot the enigma that is SL voice. I was goofing around in an (usually) abandoned sim as I typically do, then suddenly I get an IM from a poor soul. "Can you help me see if my mic is working?" Of course, who am I to turn down someone in need? We went through all the settings. The input, the output. We recruited their friend in for another opinion. We all had a good head-scratch over it. Then someone proposed the idea. "Are you clicking the button? The speak button?" Ladies, gentlemen, and other distinguished guests. That was indeed the problem. A good laugh was had by all.
  10. Just want to drop a thank you here. As a man with very narrow shoulders, I have to use female stands for anything to line up. Ended up snagging a few stands and a walk from there.
  11. I'm not sure about the shading on these two stores, but they're close to what you're looking for, it's worth a shot at the very least. ANATOMY - MP Link, they have more eyes in-world, but they don't have a ton SOMNUS - MP Link, too. They have more anime-ish eyes, but the detail is there. Not super confident about the shadows on this store, but like I said, worth a look.
  12. Raven Bell and Ginko hairs are unisex, in both short and long styles. lock&tuft is worth a look, too.
  13. Oh, it's been so long since I've listened to Voltaire. Time to go through his discography again.
  14. Had a seat at Fendoggerel Library and Bookstore in Bayou Chat Noir
  15. Oh, definite lack of confidence. If we're going to level, probably negative amounts. Of course everybody's human, the issue isn't that I put anyone above or below me, either. I view it the same way you do, we're all just people. It's just intimidating to be sociable and "fun". I agree it's difficult to hold a conversation when it seems you're doing most of the heavy-lifting in it. I'm just boring, "introverted", sure that's nice, but in reality I'm just not super interesting to talk to for prolonged periods of time. Maybe if the person likes to hear themselves talk, I'd be a good fit.
  16. I think your suit is sharp and your face is perfectly handsome as it is, but if you're looking for more hat-friendly hair options try Raven Bell (if you haven't already). They have a few short hairstyles made for specifically for fitting under hats.
