  1. This is the original: This is what happened when I figured out how to fix that weird hole in the sweater and dipped shoulder with the cloning and warping tools in Gimp:
  2. So I got myself a new LeLutka head. And it comes with its own mesh beard and piercings to boot? I am liking it already!
  3. I'm a bit late to the thread, but I wanted to show how I minimized the neck seam on my Tweenster body. I turned off the fader in the HUD. This is how my neck looks with the Catwa head: This is how it looks when I took off the mesh head. so it's basically what you'd see with a system head: I used the [NB] Alpine-skinlight RGB windlight on low to mid graphic setting in both images. I've also had the body enabled to BoM. Tweenster already has Omega pre-installed so you just need to get the free BoM relay to get your system to appear on your mesh body. You can get it here: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Bake-on-Mesh-Appliers-for-Omega/18239191. Use the relay labeled, Omega BoM Skin - Body.
  4. This one is squarely on the Gen Xers. Millennials can't take all the blame for wrecking everything.
  5. Are little boys allowed to like rainbows and unicorns? Sure, they are.
  6. Does your face look white like this? It sounds like you have turned BoM off. Go back to the head HUD and turn it back on again. Skins and tattoos that are labeled BoM don't use appliers. They are system layers that you wear; no HUDs are involved. Systems skins are represented by a person with the split duo color skin icon. Just wear it to put it on. But system skins cannot be removed; if you want to switch to another skin, simply pick another skin to wear to replace. Tattoo layers are represented by the red squiggly line icon. They can be used for tattoos, makeup, and skins. You can put them on and take them off.
  7. He just likes to pretend to be on monkey bars. And thanks. I swear I didn't drop him!
  8. When your migraine is so bad, wanting to join the 224K dead Americans is starting to look attractive. No joke, migraines suck.
  9. If you mean "frames being bad" as in some features on the HUD being disabled because the body is free, there's a reason for that. The creator intended it to be that way; the free body with limited functions is just a sample for the customer to decide if they want to pay for the full version later.
  10. Sorta, but only for those who don't use skin appliers. You could say one could save some bucks by forgoing Omega kits and Omega appliers. The rest of the HUD still have limited functions. For example, you can't adjust the skin shine or gloss, nor can you pick nail shapes & default polish. The little alpha cutouts are only functional in the paid version. I'm not sure if the clothing alpha layers would behave the same way as Slink after BoM conversion; I haven't tested it out yet.
  11. It's amazing what human ingenuity can come up with. Thanks, man.
  12. Last time I had a flu shot I ended up with a 101 degree fever. I've been nopeing out of the prospective side effects every season after that. I've been doing fine in the 25 years since, save for the occasional head or chest colds.
  13. It would serve no purpose to call out the thread and person in this case. In addition, it's against the forum rules to name and shame. Nope, definitely not that one nor any of the game threads.
  14. ok, fair enough. The tags confused us because they give a certain impression. 15. We can't read her mind but she tagged it herself and it's pretty specific. Just sayin'. All fair assessments. We really don't know until OP comes back to clarify further on what they want, be they roleplay and whatnot.
  16. It's akin to a vagabond begging for help and then refusing offers of food and clothes when they really want money for booze.
  17. Yes, I am aware of that method. I was hoping for way to give my scroll wheel a rest every time that cursed spam thread keeps popping up to the front of the line.
  18. 1) Is there a way to ignore or block specific threads like you would put someone on your ignore list? Apparently the "Mark site read" is not that function as it marks the whole forum as read instead, which I do not want. 2) Is there a way to undo the "Mark site read" after clicking by mistake?
