You have to expect problems as ADITI is a testing grid. Firestorm (maybe other viewers) do warn you on login that it is a testing grid, there's no support and downtime is to be expected. If you travel round the regions there you'll find a myriad of server versions, so maybe try another region. At least for textures you can trial with local textures on main grid to avoid upload fees.

Been going on for months. Way back in April one group I'm in had to go setup a Discord server as the group chat was impossible.

Is that region on Main Channel or RC Channel? One of the RC channels (shh, Magnum) is on Second Life Server 2020-07-31T15:02:15.545966

yep all working fine again It seems the changes are not in server code, but some settings hence being able to be rolled out grid-wide. I'm guessing that the ADITI server changes just had extra logging to help them find the issue.

After successful tests, a fix has now been rolled out grid-wide on main grid Now back working for me

I've had a bug report (BUG-229207) open about this issue. Also updated my thread with the following Hopefully if the fix in the version to be put on Beta grid later this weekend is successful they can roll it out onto the RC channels on Wednesday. So if you have the issue and can help test, please do (follow the bug to find out when they have a version ready for testing on the Beta grid)

Magnum seems to be staying on 545966 (so far, but roll not over) BlueSteel and LeTigre are now 2020-08-08T03:54:43.546455 (currently release notes give access denied, but according to Inara Pey's SUG notes this version should include the region crossing code adjustments that were in 545966 so whole grid has it) The LeTigre regions I know are restarting

Yes. tried on 3 different regions. Also tried on my Desktop (wired) & Laptop (WiFi) ETA: Just tried on 545722 server with same result ETA2: Think I've found the issue. It's my VPN. Switching protocol to OpenVPN from WireGuard and all working fine. No idea why only listing multi-item content fails

Thanks. Just tried with SL Viewer "Second Life Release 6.4.0.540188 (64bit)" with same result.

On Second Life Server 2020-07-31T15:02:15.545966 when I try to Open/Buy an object (or view contents in Edit) I can only see the content if there is just 1 item to list. With more than 1 item, the dialogs remain saying "Loading contents..." Relogging makes no difference. Created BUG-229207

All we know is it will be after the move of SL servers to the cloud (the "uplift" project) is complete. Expected to be in the Autumn, but we all know IT projects can slip. That said, some of the regions on the ADITI test grid are already up and running on AWS servers so that gives cause for optimism that the move to the cloud will complete in Autumn

If you really want to be there, you could ask LL to cut out and sell you a bit of abandoned land - there is quite a bit of abandoned land in that region

Those are the Gaeta 5 regions - just look them up on the World Map E.g. https://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Starborn/128/128/2 and then zoom out

SL17B was extended a week until the 19th, so you have a couple of days

Thanks Qie. The whole grid is on 543526 as there was no RC server roll last week. I'm guessing the planned RC server for this week failed QA, but would have expected restarts on regions up more than 10 days. Maybe an oversight caused by a late pull of the planned server.

The region my parcel is on didn't roll or restart - now been up more than 14 days. Guessing there wasn't a roll, since OP wasn't updated. Did anyone else not get a restart?

How long has the region been down? It may be that the Estate Owner has restarted the region

My region has just rolled to 542403 and the group notice dates are back Attachment icons are still missing and the open attachment message is still screwed up

If you come across a bigger parcel for sale in an area you like, you could always ask the seller if they'd be prepared to cut out a 512 for you. At worst they'll just say no or want an exorbitant price, but hey nothing ventured nothing gained!
