If you reconnect to 'Shopping', things should be back to normal with your viewer. If there are scripts using HTTP-In on your region, you may want to ask an estate manager to restart the sim. Given that the issue seemed to be UK-specific (at least from the comments in this thread), I suspect there was regional network issue, somewhere on the path between the UK to Phoenix (where sims are currently hosted).
