getting premium and buying land on the mainland cost more upfront but cost less monthly buying land from somebody other than Linden Labs you're taking a risk not everybody is out to rip you off but they can if they want they might take your money and banned you off their land so when you get land from somebody else don't pay more than a month also if it cost more than 7000L a week don't pay more then one week at a time also would be easier to help you if we had an idea of what kind of land you were looking for and how much

there is no available premium homes are brand new there are only old *****y ones I wound up getting a garbage tree stump for a home I don't know why they haven't started gradually tearing down the old crappy ones and replace them with newer more efficient better ones

MaxSilverDragon replied to Kyrah Abattoir's topic in Mesh

Looking for more games like Fish hunt Gold rush
MaxSilverDragon replied to Vimerietta's topic in Games in Second Life
the Linden gold hunting fishing is the most profitable thing to do with the least amount of effort required and they're friendly to new residence to Second Life the other fishing games you have to be over 30 days old even be able to participate in so they're not worth participating in -

mesh is actually more demanding mesh objects take forever to load their textures sometimes it takes 45 minutes for the loading and that's using a GTX 1050 TI people use 4K textures on their models and second life only allows you to use 512 megabytes texture memory and now it's time to talk about Avatar rendering some mesh avatars are greater than 750k it is really hard to find a good one under 100k me and my friend went through our avatars the reduce our rendering cost we took everything off or base bodies for mesh my kimono body was 60k is body with 41k after taking all our clothes off the most ridiculous item we had for our avatars we were able to take off the list they were very demanding my friends ding dong and my fishing hat with the highest demanding things on our avatars is ding dong 62k my fishing hat was 52k

here's an idea popped in my head for groups
MaxSilverDragon replied to MaxSilverDragon's topic in Forums Feedback
the groups would most likely buy these upgrades are large ones is right now a group over a thousand people leg so badly some people's messages don't go through they would buy server power so they have more priority on the servers so they run cleaner -

what I mean is buying upgrades for your group so you can have a better server for your group so you can offer a better group service -
there's only one spot I know of by the water of that size and it cost 350k it has 4200 prim's it's in Horizon

instead of charging people for more groups charge the groups that have a lot of people for more bandwidth other words put a cap on group size even if you don't put a cap on group size you should have a premium group feature for groups where they can pay for more processing power so their groups could run more smoothly they run a large group so they can buy more server power for their group
