  1. Here's why you should always reply to your emails.
  2. I am in Target. I am trying to buy a photo album. I asked where they might be. Worker did not know what a photo album was. I said it was a place to keep pictures. He send me to the tech aisle. He assumed I wanted memory to store more pictures on my phone. I am 1 billion years old.

  4. I have that QR code as a sticker on the back of my car. I refuse to grow up despite turning 41 in 2 months. Only my body ages.
  5. I asked for this once > https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/BUG-214686 But LL was like nah we can't do that. Shame really because it is possible to do. they have "other" priorities I guess. but hey, we've been asking for mirrors and whatnot for about 16-ish years and it looks like it's finally happening. Can you stick around for another 15 years?
  6. You gotta tell me more on how a PhD and "tourism" in SL are linked. That's just really odd to me. Also, like @Lindal Kidd so beautifully explained. There is no such thing as "tourism" in SL or booking tickets and what have you. How did you even come up with that idea that SL would even have this? Clearly you just came in here, thought this is how things go here and see where that gets you. If you really wanna do research, i suggest you search these forums and how users typically react to these kind of things. Not all that kindly as you probably already gathered. That doesn't mean i want to have a go at you or something, i just means that it is blatantly obvious that you want us to do your work. We can see through that pretty quick. Also, pick a different topic. You didn't think this through. Or at least, SL doesn't offer what you are looking for; tourism, hotels, etc...
  7. Oh, this again. So you obviously posted this exact thing in more then one place because i can tell. I'm using the dark mode theme on these forums and whenever someone copy pasts something that isn't plain text, it copies it with white background. (You can fix that btw LL). How much you wanna bet that in about 20 minutes to an hour from now someone will (rightfully) tell you to actually spend time in SL if you want to do "research". This isn't research, this is asking people to do it for you. Just saying though.
  8. I'm sort of lost on what direction that is now if i'm honest.
  9. /me quietly walks by flashing these pages: https://www.csoonline.com/article/3620223/how-to-hack-2fa.html https://blog.knowbe4.com/many-ways-to-hack-mfa https://www.zdnet.com/article/hackers-are-finding-ways-around-multi-factor-authentication-heres-what-to-watch-for/ https://www.amazon.com/Hacking-Multifactor-Authentication-Roger-Grimes/dp/1119650798 ... Now go get your panties twisted in a bunch on those. Almost this whole thread has been on how to take away functionality, and now how to make it more annoying to log in or do a transaction. Yet the blatantly obvious just won't be accepted by the loudest voices here. Do Not Randomly Put Your Passwords In!
  10. I'll openly admit it. I've been there. I make "that type of animations" for other creators. Why? To spy on the competition obviously!
  11. I'm a Firestorm user, have been for the 10 years i'm here but i now wonder. Do those TPV creators look on both jira's for things people ask for? I have a few there. Some are now 7 years old. So if you wanna win me over...
  12. When older people say, "Enjoy them while they are young." They are talking about your knees and hips, not your kids.
  13. I don't mind being named. Wait wait wait... Can you hear that...? I think it's an approaching @Dyna Mole With a padlock in her hand... This thread has ran it's course. We're getting nowhere except:
  14. I knew you wouldn't get the sarcasm of it, and i'm not even going to reply to the rest of what you said.
  15. @Arielle Popstar, i never said i don't like PIOF so don't make that assumption for me please. - You ask me what i would suggest. I've told you. Several times now but it's obvious you don't want to hear it. I've used the screwdriver as an example but it flew over your head like a 747 at cruising speed and altitude so i'm sort of running out of options here. It should be an obvious red flag that if you enter your password into something and it doesn't obscure it. You know, as you type it in, you see dots or stars as you type along. llTextBox doesn't do that. It's not a great look you put on when you display ageism. Even sarcastically. I've never even hinted at that, so why would you bring that up? But then again, it's something we know you do, right? You don't agree with a statement and you have to go to an extreme where you think you're clever. Just like the Tesla and Jeep examples you put out. Please don't ever Google-search for "Flipper Zero", it'll blow your mind. I'm sure LL will ignore the fact that you bring up "ignorant developers", as will i and i'm sure other devs reading this will too. I even had a chuckle while reading that. It once again proves the screwdriver example went over your head. I'm sure you're going to reply and quote parts of what i just said and answer them with far fetched extremes. Don't bother though. I've previously said i wouldn't engage with you anymore because there really is no point but i broke my own rule and yeah, i didn't gain anything from it other then the obvious outcome: You don't get it, you don't want to see it. The gist of it all is that this phishing attempt is a lazy one. An inworld box that asks you for your password like the way this one does is just very lazy. Actual phishing at least copies a website to actually trick you. This one is just sad. I wanna circle back Psaki-style on the ageism. I think, once you're on the internet you pretty much have all the tools at hand to educate yourself and there are plenty of warnings thrown in your face about phishing. Like i said before, the Firestorm viewer does it by default. It has nothing to do with age that people just don't read or randomly click stuff just to see what it does. I could bring up tons of real word examples to prove my point, but what use is it? You'll most likely twist it into something else. So why even bother. I'll try and do my best to not engage with whatever reply you put on this, apart from putting a laughing emoji on it perhaps. because it'll most likely be laugh worthy.
