    She likes to make those broad statements without really backing up her claims. I mean yeah not everyone stays, but you may have one or two out of say 100 that stay. And in my eyes, that is pretty good. And she also uses gatekeeping, without providing any sort of explanation of what is being gatekept from new users that somehow all aren't staying. Lol

    Can you please just stop with this doom and gloom. I mean to you, the sky may be falling. But it's been what? 20 years? and SL is still standing? No way!! The sky ain't falling, I think things are fine. I mean if you don't like the direction it is going, leave. It is as plain and simple as that. Not everything has to be mainstream.

    I mean a lot of smaller brands are getting their limelight with big major events. These stores you are talking about, now have to compete with these smaller brands. So these handful of brands, don't really corner or dominate the market that much anymore.

    Patch has said multiple times, that you can achieve whatever look you want with these. That and with Nux we are getting an update to the avatar appearance menu. So there may be more you can do to tweak your avatar.

    It was way too philosophical for me. Like looking at the morals and stuff of different stuff. They could have left that all as the last lab gab. Don't get me wrong, Oberwolf seems like a cool dude. Pretty in touch with SL. But cmon no one wants to hear about an investor and the back end of being one. As I said earlier, they could have put them after the moles. As something to close out the Lab Gabs and essentially wind things down.

    Generally speaking, I feel like these groups tend to stick with their own and not really venture out and talk to anyone outside of those circles. So I mean by that definition, they are not anti-social. They just like smaller circles of friends. And to be honest with you, I could care less what people do in SL. As long as they are having fun, and I am pretty comfortable with mentioning the name. I mean it's just a word. Lol

    To me, it doesn't really matter where you socialize. And I only think you can interact as an avatar, in SL. Once you take it outside of SL, you are interacting person to person. As in actual human to human interaction.

    I mean as I said, not everyone does this. But generally speaking, I don't get that same feeling in SL. Then say in RL. I mean I love cuddling in SL, but it's more of a platonic thing for me. But I don't get any sort of warm fuzzy feeling from it.

    I mean sure for some people, but that being said. I sure as heck don't feel that way. I don't metaphorically, upload my conscience ness to SL. To me it's a way to see people, that I maybe can't see. Due to distance or something else.

    Shouldn't it be Humans are antisocial? I mean unless the your avatar is an extension of you, then yeah. I can see you passing your personality on your avatar. But if you are trying to play a character, like you are in theater, then generally speaking. We could say that is false.

    That's true. But I mean coming from a former theater kid. Sometimes it's fun to play someone else.

    At the end of the day, who cares. It's not for everyone. There will be some people who will find it more beneficial for them.

    Well generally speaking, when people are out. Especially in friend groups, they are probably chatting in discord or other apps. People like me, who usually go out alone. Are usually out just off in my own little world, and doing something. But yeah, if you want to start something in local. Just walk up to some people and start a conversation.

    That and another big thing, you actually need to go out and find places where people are chit-chatting. I mean if I want to do something, I tend to tp around and even check the destination guide. Until I find the perfect place. Kinda like RL, you have to actually go out and look for the places yourself. Even if it does take time.

    Destination guide is basically places curated by LL by applying. I think there is a category for specifically that. I don't think they have actual stats up, to tell you who is conversing and not conversing in that place at that time.

    I mean, I tend to go to venues that have mainly electronic music and clubs owned by friends. To help support them.

    and 9 times out of 10, people are using gestures at clubs. Which is annoying, I might add. As they don't know when to stop. So how do you really interact with that? Lol

    Because we are responsible to find our own things to do. That and not everyone doesn't have to dance or chat in public at clubs. I tend to dance by myself. I feel like these are very subjective standards, you go to someplace that has social interaction and you are basically expected to interact. Also, if you want someone to interact with at a club or a big venue. Reach out to them, and talk to them. Don't expect them to come to you and talk to you.

    What I mean about socialism, is my social interactions and my ability to socialize is crap. I wasn't talking about actual socialism. Lol. That and I am not a socialist. Never have been.

    Oh, I know, but all I was saying. Looks don't determine affinity to be social or not.

    I mean I have a pretty well-put-together avatar, and my confidence and socialism are pretty crap. So I would say that even if you are well-put-together, you can still be antisocial.
