I feel even that will be limited, though. There was no auto-redelivery(afaik) for people who have the bodies(I didn't get one on any of my accounts), so i'd imagine a vast majority of people who have the body, but don't visit the forums or are in any of the Belleza groups, will have no idea anything has changed or even will unless they start seeing advertisements or redeliveries or something.

A few might pick it up again, but I also don't think it'll be at levels it once was. They waited too long. Only way I can see them gaining some ground would require a lot of advertising.

Modify is big with the anthro/furry community as some of them like to have glowing markings. Fantasy skin makers can likely also make use of this.

I don't get "compliments", but do get those long-winded roleplay pm's of somebody trying to get in my pixel panties from time to time. When it comes to compliments, it's only fair, as I may think to myself that somebody's avatar looks really nice, but I don't tell them.

I think I know just what house you're talking about. Back when the region was originally going, that was one of my "please rngesus" homes. That person who recently abandoned it had an amazing trad prior as well.

If you are trying to use them from the Genus HUD, and you're using the large version, try using the small. I found my large version stopped working suddenly one day(and never worked again), but the small works fine.

This is a smaller place than some, but the owner is incredibly nice and approachable. She also doesn't jump you as soon as you land on one of her parcels lol(honestly the worst thing about some rental places). Why am I getting the feeling the very hardcore "gachas are fun!" crowd, looking for a new scamboat, are people who actually have stores that rely heavily on gachas? You are basically admitting to loving/having fun being ripped off otherwise.. and this new "solution" sounds just as anxiety Inducing as the last, just in a different manner. If it's a live thing, god help you if there are 50+ other people in the room waiting for that same item to come up.

Not that I can remember. Seems a bit silly, as if something goes wrong on the weekend.. well.. most of them are off.

That's one reason why Gachas are so looked down upon. They are addictive, and people know this, so it's "easy money" to make by exploiting somebody's weakness(hence predatory). Perhaps i'm a little harsher with addictive substances or circumstances as it's cost me quite a lot irl(grandparents lost their house because of gambling/parents were alcoholics and addicted to drugs). It's a little easier to keep yourself in-check when you've seen it take a toil on your life or a loved-ones life when you weren't part of it. I wouldn't be surprised if there are people on SL who lost everything due to gacha addiction.. and that's sad to think about.

Ohhh boy. You can buy Lindens without the thought of using them on Gachas. That can be an addiction itself, yes, but it is not the reason for Gacha addiction. People who are addicted can feel physical or emotional pain if they don't partake in what they are addicted to. This is why it's so hard for people to quit certain things. They feel compelled to do it or the world feels like it's going to fall apart. Also fomo. It's like a high. Not everybody has the same mental capacity or strength of will to stop themselves, so just because you can hold back, doesn't mean others can. I have a mild addiction to houses in SL, but I have enough self control to stop and ask myself "Do I love it? What will I use it for?". Some people see it and they feel they need it, and there that goes.

I'm baffled at how many people still think this is LL's decision. The Law says no, they abide. Your "ideas" mean nothing if gacha use continues in any form.

Also, with Linden Homes you know what you are getting. You grab a stilt, you get a stilt. It may not be a spot you want, but it's still a stilt. Up there with the gumball excuse. You may not get the color you want(who cares?), but you still get a gumball.

I hate "vouchers" for this reason. Maybe you want to try it on and see if it fits your idea for a character.. BUT NOPE! It's stuck to you now and you don't want it.

Is this when it's at it's full price? Or the discounted until the half of the month? Any time i've ever looked at the site, i've never seen any previews. Edit: I'm a dumb lol, reread. I haven't actually checked the marketplace page, only the website. So I will keep an eye out.

Biggest reason I won't bother with Powder Pack. I don't want to spend money for a bunch of stuff I won't use. If I know what i'm getting, I just might from time to time.

Well, perhaps SL will address that. However i'd never known anymore who joins groups just got the lucky chairs lol.. most lucky chairs I see are super old items not many would want anyway. Edit: Actually somebody already explained it. You know what you're getting I guess.

Lucky chairs show no exchange of money. That is the line. If no money(or Linden) is used in getting that item out of luck, then I don't think it's affected.

Tbh I veeeery rarely ever need that Modify option, so this wouldn't put a damper on my SL personally. Feel for those it would. I think the only things I ever want to modify are tinting hairs(a few creators just have bad color selections in their huds).

As a consumer this is great news to me. I got in to the habit of giving myself maybe 1k for gachas and that's my mark. If I don't get what I want.. oh well. It's supremely irritating to get the same piece from a gacha machine 6/10 pulls, and then it won't resell on top of it. You basically just throw money away at that point. I feel for honest gacha makers(who's odds are not set stupidly low on their machines), but as a whole I will not be sad to see these things go. Edit: So will this also affect Powder Pack? Since you are moreso than not told what you are getting, but only who it's from.

Purchased the body for an alt, also told a friend who was debating Kupra about it(can't beat that sale price). Gives me a little more incentive to perhaps make that alt in to something.
