thinking now it may be to do with firestorm as was said earlier could be client side ie firefox browser ?

cloudflare was 1.1.1.1 bytes=32, time =11ms,ttl=57, and i am using cloudflare dns servers so there we go

this was on cloud ping which is higher US-West (Oregon) 169 ms

Google Public DNS 8.8.8.8 bytes = 32, time = 13 ms, ttl=120

bingo, just did a trace route test , got no packet loss, still at low ping,

its not to bad when i use a diff browser ie singularity is not to bad, because with a better ping i get less lag, last night where i live on sl, tahoma i think my fps was right down to 8 fps then i elogged tweaked a few settings wih loss of qual, could only reach 12 ps

every thing is fine cpu is capable , no freme rate limiter but it says network problem which there is not, or file sharing app which i dont have

thats what the test results said using one of the best ip providers in the uk bt british telecom

prob works by blocking your profile, as in facebook

i reside in the uk, did a speed test to servers in usa, got a ping time of 18 ms download speed 70 m bits, upload speed of 20 m bits my prob is when using firestorm, or any other view, when i visit certain regions on sl, i ge a ping of well over 600 ms, this seems to be problem with lag, can anyone give me info how to get this lower my connection is very good help would be appreciated, thank you

predictive text is a pain, you enter a search it put something else in lol

sometimes it may be your browser, dep on which one you use i get this sometimes with opera or Firefox, mabey it could be your firewall, or anti virus , try clearing browser, history, cookies i use crap cleaner by pinform software its free, sounds like a browser issue, you could also try resetting your modem or router , by turning it off leave off for a minute or to, try ie 11, sometimes the website has a prob where it cant connect due to network interruption this is due to firewall, always update browser to latest version it helps because of security certs etc, hope this helps good luck

strange because i use there dns and i can get i get here no problem

i have had this prob it was lag that caused it

try cloudflare dns service, see how that does its free to use and simple to configure, instructions are available on youtube x

thanking you i always clean up my pc after a session its good policy in this day and age

no i ment the dns service i know cloudflare have been around, dont think many knew about the dns service i only found out after looking on you tube

looks like a corrupt file issue or it has gone missing some where try cleaning the firestorm files completely out it sometimes leaves files behind after uninstalling so i do it manual by locating the firestorm folder and deleting it then i reinstall also the registry can be a prob after you uninstall so get a registry program a good one that will repair the registry on windows, or have you tried system restore

i had a issue on my windows based pc, with another game it was getting pixalated , strange shapes etc it was a graphics card issue drivers was the fault

i have been having a few issues with firestorm since the update made me wonder if it need a patch or update may be that it gets very buggy, found it uses a lot of memory as well ,

i tried ramdisk was not very good to be honest

my friend has got ssd what he does is he installs to hdd, thus freeing up the ssd to use window programs, so it copes better the the short cut is on the desk top, but games are on hdd bearing in mind he has a really powerful i7 based pc, i suppose the way forward would be some large ssd disks , but they are really fast drives, one prob was when they first came on the market, he had a spike in the power, shut down his pc, and killed the ssd could not get it to work again but they may have improved on them now
