So what changed in the Terms of Service?
Rowan Amore replied to Lucia Nightfire's topic in General Discussion Forum
It certainly is but the new rule clearly state what adults are NOT allowed to do in regards to children. That part, IMO, was sorely needed. -

You can AR that. Sharing fantasies about or promoting engagement in child sexual exploitation. By trying to entice you there, they are promoting engagement -

So..if the infraction doesn't warrant a lifetime ban (AP) then what is your concern. If you're not doing something against the ToS, why would you get any banned? Just because someone reports an avatar that doesn't suit their personal taste doesn't mean a ban. In fact, someone filing too many of the false reports is in more trouble. Someone doing nothing wrong? Scratching my head here. -

The problem with Maitreya is you'd have to add the other BoM body parts in order to smooth out the butt cleavage and the V. Those would be considered emphasizing those areas. Someone mentioned the bodies made.specifically for children, don't include that definition. She'd have to put out the body with at least one of those layers permanently attached or rework those areas. That MIGHT break some mesh clothing. -

I've tried to age up mine but aside from.the crow's feet, most other facial add ons don't blend so.well on darker tones and the mature skins are too mature. Apparently, I look 14 according to.those guess my age websites. 😂 -

Personal opinions on subjects are often based on age, background, race as has been mentioned by others. Westerners might see Asian avatars as younger. Younger users might see some avatars as old and older people may see them as younger. A lot goes into subjectivity in regards to avatar age. -

We've discussed this. Subjectivity is me thinking your anime looks like a child. That's my opinion based on my age and background. You don't see anime as a child because of YOUR age and background. Societal influences come into play as well. That's subjectivity. Neither of us are right or wrong. This has always been and always will be the case when determining an avatar's age in SL. There's just no way to avoid it. -

So, how do you explain places that cater to such activity that are full of child and preteen looking avatars? I stopped by Giggles Beach years ago just to see what people were talking about. The majority of avatars there were not the adult variety. -

You're correct! Not everything is subjective! Never acted like it was either! Finally, we agree on something! -

Subjective....based on or influenced by personal feelings, tastes, or opinions As we've seen, it's highly subjective based on a number of factors. Race, gender, age, social background. What you see and what I see as adult differs. Neither of us are right since they are our opinions. That is what subjective means. -

I close my curtains in RL.so.the neighbors don't see in. We also have hedges near the street so.people can't see in. Privacy settings in Linden homes or any SL land is the same. If I want to chat with a neighbor, I walk over and talk if I see them out. I wouldn't peek in the window. -

Is simple nudity without sex Adult? Depending on context, nudity may not require an Adult rating. For example all of the following could be rated Moderate: A nude beach without sexual activity. Skin vendors showing a nude skin to display the product. Nude art that is not sexual. Strip clubs that do not use adult words in search or host sex furniture. Depending on the context, exposed genitalia may not be considered Adult. For example: Hanging out at a nude beach would be fine. Walking around pants-less on the mainland could be inappropriate. Non-sexualized depictions of nudity are Moderate NOT Adult. https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Adult_Content_FAQ
