depends a bit how it got lost. It could be a simple bad file in the cache. Clearing cache and let it reload would solve that. If you know a item what is in it, you could try the filter/search in the inventory window, sometimes folders are dragged into another one by accident. It will show up again when searching a item thats in it. If you accidently deleted it... and not longer in your trash... it's gone forever. You could try contacting support, but not sure they can restore it.

i think you don't have to look at your preferences but at the "worn" tab of your inventory. It sounds for me like you'r wearing a, horrible badly made facelight/bodylight If you find it, take off (and delete) and all will be ok again. Facelights are totally outdated since windlight came in the viewers. Only in rare occasions facelights might work for special photo's/modeling, for sure not for general use in public.

Mainly, Residential living or renting the entire island out. if you start this way you can forget it... landrentals are profitable, but your initial costs will take years to come out, have a look at the prices inworld... some rents are even UNDER/SAME as the monthly cost a normal sim owner would get from LL. Big landlords seem to have rebates because of their scale, and of course some have lots of old granthfathered sims. With one or just a handfull sims you will get the normal price...and you have to rent it out for according prices or get losses every month. no LL will not buy your land. But you can try to sell it to another resident. If you put it for sale it will automaticly come in the search for landsales. If you price it reasonable it might sell quite soon.... or not, but in that case you always can think about abandon.

when you want to put money asside to cover your tier and premium fees, you can buy L$, than sell them. The exchange wil put this money in USD on your usd balance ( you have a L$ and USD balance on your account) LL will always take first your USD balance, before CC/paypal/skrill

no you can't directly, but of course you could put enough USD at your balance to cover premium fees and tiers for a year. LL will take the money from there first before taking it from a payment method.

there are groups inworld that give you a little fee when you set your free land "tier" to their group. It's not really sell it, but it's a way for a group to get higher sqm for a lower price than upgrading their tier level in the accountpage. And you have a little pocketmoney for it.

well you got reported, but you are still here... so LL did investigate i assume, or at least they rread your reply... and didn't get banned. Shows for me they do look to AR's and what really happens in the setting of the report. With your looks you most likely are in the danger zone for reports when you hang out on sims with sexual content. It's too young. When you get reported there ánd you'r in ageplay you will find a less tolerant LL i'm affraid.

at first... this doesn't belong in the Q&A section, it's no fashion advice agency. second... there is no "best" of anything in SL. It's always a combination of taste, opinion and ....money. If your budget is 0 your "best" things will be in that category.. if you have 1.000.000 your range is totally different. Find the things you like, not what others like.

there is a usefull thing inworld, it's called "search" .. even me as guy could find over 1000 results for maitreya. I am pretty sure there are skin stores in that list. If you do the same on MP you will also find thousends of hits. Maitreya is Omega compatible... that also adds thousends of hits in search.

land can be from 16 to 65536 sqm, and everything in between in steps of 4 meters 16x16 = 4x4 16536 = 256 x256 more info how to, you can find here

what i see on the pic is that you wear only the INSTALLER for the omega system... next to that you also need the real SKIN APPLIER what belongs to the skintone you want to have. What you have now will not apply anything.

it is impossible your bank gets billed by LL, they only accept payments when 3rd party is in between, Credit Card company, paypal or skrill. If you try to add a debit or pre paid card the transaction will faill in most cases. If this is the matter, change your billing method. one of the most important things you don't mention... what are your system specs ? in special also your graphic card .. please edit your post and add those (menu help gives a choice to have all in one view)

i think you'r asking at the wrong place, you have to be at the stations support.

it are always personal settings. Even when you put lights around, the visitors might have turned off local lights, wearable lights... and so on. Next to that they might have fixed windlight setting. Their graphic card and monitor will never give the same experience as you have.

i'd like to add ... you can't be scammed by objects unless you allow it/give permissions. Biggest troubles these days is clicking malicious links in chats where you have to enter pw and username.. only click links to MP or other Linden sites when you can go by https, or directly from your own browser or the official homepage.
