How do you do an effect like you use here? I have no idea how something like that would be done. The only thing I can think of is to put the video on two tracks then mask the upper one around the bride or whatever you want in strong focus and make the lower level video blurred. But then I can't imagine how I would mask around the bride as the masking tools in sony vegas are very clunky and imprecise. Is that how you do it?

Yea sometimes when I'm doing the thumb nail pictures in paint shop pro, there is a simple sequence I do - effects/contrast enhance/saturation enhance then the thumb nail looks amazing. But then, I cannot duplicate the end result in the actual movie even though the one I use, sony vegas, has contrast and saturation settings... it just don't come out the same. I wish the paint shop pro effects were in my video editor. One thing I struggle with is everybody has their computer monitor set to different brightness and contrast settings. Like I have my HP monitor set to 40/40 but then if I make my movie look the best to me, somebody with their monitor set to 100/100 will be blinded by the brightness. The only solution I've come up with is to try to never change the captured footage's brightness settings. Sometimes though, like in the nightclub scenes in my last movie, it was too dark so I risked brightening it up a bit.

I found one on that auction page...1024 lot for $500 Lindens - I went there and used the land tab to see how many prims were available... it said 351..... I don't see anything about rent/lease though..... so the 500 to buy it would be my only cost? yes that will be video #42 I'm a little confused still.... just trying to see the difference between doing it without being premium and with being premium. So premium means I get mainland, and a 1024 lot. I'm not really interested in the 512 one because too many restrictions on it so I'd let go of the free house for the 1024 lot. And if I am premium, no tier costs on the 1024 lot. Ok so next I have to buy (lease) a 1024 lot on the mainland. So say I find one for sale for $500...then there is rent as well usually? Always rent? Rent based on prims like it is off mainland? I found one that I could get not being premium and not on mainland for example, it's 1152 in size, 632 prims and 490 a month in rent. Is that about the same as what the prices are on mainland? I'm totally confused. Says if have 1024 (which ii get as premium member) I can use this to buy land. Go to Your Account. On the left side of the page, click Account Summary. Find the section called Land Holdings Available square meters for purchase at your current tier is listed under Available for purchase. Does this mean I have to pay more money to get this land? Or I just pick one as a premium member? How much do these cost if anything?

I've never had much luck with it. But then maybe what I was offering was not worth much lol. Like yesterday I had an idea to make a sl video based on the song Mrs Brown You Have a Lovely Daughter and I thought ok I need an avatar for Mrs Brown to film. I went to old lady avatar stores and asked owners if they would give me some stuff and in return I'd advertise them in video.... nobody wanted to. A good sl video can get a lot of views so I thought was good offer. One time a guy offered to pay me to make a video of his sl business so I made it then when I asked him for payment he handed me some bad chairs he had made! I'm bad at bartering I think.

I'm still using FRAPs! I tried OSB and liked fraps better. The nvidea one has no way to change output folder so gave up on that too. I like ease and no hassles and I kept getting glitches with OSB. One problem with fraps is it doesn't capture desk top in windows 10.
