Yea I just went and looked at bigger land for rent and read the covenant.... " Avatar limit of 5-7 avatars on 2000 and 3000 sqm. land rentals, while 10 avatar limit for 4000 sqm." So really need to spend a lot of money to allow more than 10 people I guess. I pay under 600 lindens a week for land rental. Spend lot's more on toys, clothes, boats, cars and on and on. The one idea I had was for linden labs to somehow take over amazing builds so they stay forever.... like Greenies was awesome. I was in route 66 today and thinking about how sad it would be if it eventually closed as the look is amazing.

One thing I just noticed recently is I rented some land and was reading in depth the land covenant and mind you I rented this land with the idea of a hang out, club, store, bar etc.....and it is zoned full commercial...... the covenant says I can have 2 to 3 visitors max..... I get that I have just rented some land that has been divided up into smaller pieces....but 2 to 3 avatars? How many can a full sim support? Why does this restriction exist? Take some zone in a game like World Of Warcraft...... they can have several hundred avatars in there. Yea so I'm not sure how one opens a dance club or something without owning the entire sim with these restrictions on how many can visit or be there.

I'm working on a music video now. So far I've spent a lot of lindens lol. Two days work so far and all I've done is work on sets and avatars. Can't wait to get the filming started. But yea if somebody already had the sets and avatars ready, be a lot faster and cheaper. I have a bunch of empty rooms in my houses as I just started playing second life again.

McDonalds told me the ice cream machine was not working here too.... on a friday night! It's mercury retrograde stuff...... by the way, when I want chocolate milk on my corn flakes I do it!

Wow loved that. Amazing look. You could make some professional videos for musicians. I have a friend who is an EDM artist who sure could use some better videos. How did you get that effect? I use Sony Vegas and do have a cartooner plus plug in from New Blue, but yea it does not look very good. I'm guessing you use the video editor from same company that makes Photoshop? Adobe? I can't remember that name of that film editor. People have told me to get it though.

That was great. You have amazing filming skills and techniques! I have some second life machinima tech questions if you don't mind. That first scene, the camera was stationary and the avatar is walking towards it....did you use two computers and two avatars to film that or some other method? Then that goes right into a side camera shot that follows the avatar....how was that achieved? I use the second life viewer and side tracking does not work. The only thing I can think of is to go into the debug menu and change some camera defaults there? What would I change to get a side follow cam? I'm just guessing maybe there is a firestorm setting for follow side angle?

Yes true. A new person first goes to one of those orientation zones with signs teaching them how to walk and jump and fly. Then as a new person, you struggle with how to talk. Then once you can move and talk, or maybe just move, the very first thing that many do next is try to make themselves look better.

Hi, there's two things you can do. You click on the cog wheel under the video on the right (settings) and you can change the speed from normal to .75 Also, you can turn on English sub titles there. Change sub titles off to English (auto-generated) I just tried it and it works pretty good. Here's a screen shot from next movie.... it kinda goes downhill from this scene....

Yes I'm working on a new one now that will cover live music and some more land stuff. Then I have a 3rd planned about some Halloween stuff so I gotta hurry as Halloween is getting close!
