I was under the impression you can submit three names per avatar as your submission? I couldnt find it the rules you cant send more then one.. but doesnt seem right as ones suggestions are one suggestions. Sending them repeatedly is like keep hitting the doorbell or elevator button over and over Im sure they heard you the first time. What your telling us is you can repeatedly submit same names under the same avatar? I think a simple three names per avatar and LL will choose the winner will suffice.. it states the contest ended Jan 6th did they extend it?

I’m very happy its now being charged to post on a calendar on the dashboard the entire grid sees rather then look at the same spammed events over and over to the point my eyes skip it. kudos.. Its educational to read those complaining about it and why, I will leave it at that.

As ive said in another thread at this point would be easier just to enable new sign ups to choose a first and last name and people can transfer what they can and dump their resident av creators win in this, since same stuff will have to be rebought - but people will be happy That probably wont happen though, since no revenue in that for LL - unless they create an option during sign up to become preimum and choose your first and last name.

I was thinking if the uuid of the name cannot be replaced making it still one uuid per avi.. maybe would be it possible to just have all "resident" accounts to just resign up and either transfer their inventories to it (transfer or not - if possible)? Then we will have last names and similar sign up dates though but since "resident" accounts started "aging an account" i believe is a thing of the past anyway..

I find this very fascinating. When LL stopped last names and made everyone elses last name resident .. just one key to remember for either i gather. The important thing is for LL to know the relationship of the new name.. so my thought is when the existing scripts ask - it could just be one key still because it will replace the key and notate it somewhere will LL on ones acct not publicly. I dont feel it has to be the worlds business as users would want to change the name for a host of reasons. I’m not opposed to it disclosing, but if this challenging task is whats “holding up the works” possibly my suggestion should be looked into if its feasible. If a user wants to disclose what their old name was, perhaps making a new field for users to manually put it may be easier. I love sl and this new possibility of last names and have been premium since the announcement awaiting this new feature.

I'm not sure if this is posted in the right place, but I wanted to make you all aware of something that has been in place a number of years. Most Mainland regions have an avatar limit of 44 (called agent limit) youll find in world tab and region settings. Think about it, thats on an entire sim - so if someone has a tiny parcel and a club you probably wont be able to teleport to your parcel on that sim. All it takes is one person to ruin it for the rest of the parcel owners on the sim who in some cases (more often then not) paid a pretty penny for their parcel they can hardly get to. My suggestion is this... dependant on how much land you own on a sim is how many agents (avatars allowed) per parcel that will be allowed. So if its a 512sqm two avatars would be permitted and a 1024sqm maybe 4.. and so on.. this way the parcel owners (who also pay a preimum fee to even own said parcel(s) can get fair access anytime day or night without worry.. and if an additional avatar tried to access the parcel would say parcel full not region. Has anyone experienced this??? This could be hurting the lab.. as some will just get rid of their land and that portion if not all of monthly tiers..If a Linden can comment that would be spectacular.

Rider, thank you for that info! it was my understanding it would be possible for it to rain, snow, wind etc... and thats exciting about being able to customize your own EEP windlight and import them, looking forward to that!

Morena, when the rest of the grid besides bluesteel let us say “experience that” there will be alot more pushback.. i really hope firestorm is working on an override but its my understanding that it should work fine after its released.. If your unaware, in firestorm you can either go to the world tab environment or lower right corner phoenix icon make it so only u will see your preferred windlight as a workaround currently.. but this wont help people visiting your land.. The whole thing to me is disapointing because the sl viewer never had this technology they are disabling the possibility to make it so others cant see the windlight in any viewer but the EEP. you will hear more as the lab continues to disable regions abilities via the use second life default not ticked.. any windlight codes you have will automatically not work then..i downloaded the EEP viewer (missing all the fs features i love) noticed the EEP viewer has alot of firestorm named windlights built in but not all of them. A huge positive would be if you'd be able to create your own windlight for others to see in the viewer.. this is only currently possible in firestorm to my understanding if one owns the entire private estate region/sim (but not mainland as their aren't estate mangers besides Lindens as one would need to access the estate menu) .. I noticed in the EEP the weather did not operate ..hopefully it will soon but makes me wonder what supersonic lag awaits us all then... maybe i was doing something wrong but the skies never changed when i programmed it to the parcel this latest update.. we will see what surprises await us and hope for the best. we may look back on this and say why did we worry or..

I have three questions.. besides when last names returning.. 1. Will their be new tier structures and fees in the mainland? 2. Are the land auctions returning? 3.
