  1. Houseboat going back very shortly. Pros: Uninterrupted sunsets, quiet area, good sailing, corner lot with heaps of space (as you can see by my boat moored) Cons: Only 2 of the HB models face the open water. The other 2 face the neighbours boat. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/La Manche/72/82/22
  2. As I gave the confused reaction I’ll elaborate. I meant that for the new owner. As someone who’s thrown back dozens of homes as they face the wrong way I don’t understand why. I get that everyone is different but just, why?
  3. Will be letting this go in 2 minutes. If you like beach campers this is a nice one. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Wood/145/36/22
  4. Corner lot across the road from the steps & lookout in Dog Paddle currently in Maintenance.
  5. About to release this Victorian on Beaux Armes. A bridge, railway & river next door. Pretty spot. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Beaux Armes/22/222/32
  6. This little beauty is about to go back. A trad in Esplin. I don't see them come up very often. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Esplin/14/159/35
  7. I’d been away from SL for awhile so missed all the early releases. A friend posted a video about the houseboats & trads so I came on to take a look. Got my first house, a houseboat on Puddleduck & thought it was amazing. Many homes later (because you have to try them all) I have a Victorian on the sea in Pelham Station & that’s where I’ll be staying. My alt will be giving the stilt homes a try though.
  8. ... & I got it. Finally I get my coastal Victorian. TY so much for the heads up.
  9. Putting this log home back in a minute. Nice location on the small river that connects to the big lake. Windows face the water. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Doggone/198/213/51
  10. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Skyridge/165/98/22 A large parcel with sailable protected water all around. Great location, great neighbours (they keep an open water channel through to the sailing club for you to use if you don't want to sail all the way around). Objects don't come with the land. I've left them there so you can get an idea of the plot size. $10,000L.
  11. Way back years ago it was against the TOS to sell an account but I don’t know if this still applies. I know I tick that I’ve read the TOS but we all know few of us actually read the whole thing 🤣
  12. I’m going to throw my 2 pence in. I own a mainland property. My partners business is run through there & there’s not much in the way of community. When I heard about Bellisseria I thought I’d check it out & I was delighted to find an active community, people would chat when you were looking around, it felt friendly & so I upgraded an alt & started looking for my perfect spot. Over time I found neighbourhoods getting quieter, empty homes & most of the time I’d be the only person in the region. I started noticing a lot of homes were taken by the same land group. It’s not just one region, it’s many areas you’ll find these houses. They have very little done to them: an extension added, a few bits of furniture but basically empty. I don’t know what they are doing but i find it disruptive to the community feel. It’s also very disheartening when you see a nice area being released & find the majority of property is taken by the same group. Because of this I’m letting my alt go back to basic when the month runs out & will move back to my mainland house. If they are making money out of it I’m sure the Lindens will find out eventually. If they are just hoarders then I’m glad they have found something that makes them happy.
  13. You just have to keep checking the house page until one becomes available. They can be hard to get because they are popular but they pop up now & then. People sometimes announce when they are releasing one on the ‘When did you last see a Bellisseria house available’ thread in this forum & there is more information on the thread about help in getting a new home.
  14. I have a Mac & the lag is a killer in Mac OS as my graphics card doesn’t like it. If I switch to Windows it runs perfectly. I run Firestorm so it may be worth a try if you are on a Mac. Alchemy is great for Macs as well as previously stated. I just need to save for a new machine ☹️.
  15. Also check trees if you have put any close to the house.
  16. Sorry Tarra, it went very quickly. I had to get my alt to post as I was upset at letting that one go (& I know that sounds weird cause it is) but sometimes you have to move on. I hope someone nice got it.
  17. Mainly abandons as the releases are few & far between. Apparently the moles are all busy on the birthday celebrations & they may have a new theme announced then but no one really knows. There’s still a lot of work for moles to do around the log home area as well, railway, landscaping & putting homes in the empty spaces.
  18. Thanks Nika. I’m now blinding my neighbours with a firefly overload.
  19. This link will help you. Unless you have a premium alt you’ll have to abandon your current home & chose a log home on the Get Your New Home screen.
  20. I don’t mind if I miss out on a home that was posted on here. No one should feel bad when we say we missed it. I’ve got some fantastic homes from posts on here but the two I’m not letting go were just randoms. It’s the thrill of the chase!
  21. Also, if you are after one of the newer homes you have to see Bellisseria in the options.
  22. My house in on the big lake, currently has a great view but the land between me & the lake is flat & not yet terraformed. I’d love a railway to go past but am worried what may go there instead. I’d hate for a hill to suddenly appear.
  23. I’m worried they’ll do the same with me. That’s why I’m hanging on to my beachfront Trad 😀
  24. They built out your view? That’s awful & Must have been very upsetting. I hope you found something beautiful.
  25. There was a Mole in the Bellisseria chat not long ago so some are working. Fingers crossed for a new release.
