Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone! ( Only disappointments I suffered were two places I looked forward to still being closed down, I hope they reopen soon before the next wave hits.) All of your responses have been both enlightening to me and also funny (Looking at you, @Lindal Kidd , Wouldn't be a thread without you.) If anyone would care to keep posting, please! It's my rl birthday today (june 22nd incase this thread lives past today), I want to know.. How did you come across secondlife? I was just 13 years old and came across this place back when there was a teen grid but it was time locked, I found it through an ad looking for places to socialise as I was home schooled and being ignored by my parents. I've been here on and off, lied about my age at one point and then quit all together and joined IMVU.. Which was a mistake, and then I came back.

Have you tried feeding Toby Keith? That'll sometimes work for me, Rapping successfully to a Tech Nine song will occasionally work too. But seriously. It's most likely just an old relic from when the forums were first made as someone pointed out. BUT. Have you also tried clearing your browsers cache and did a complete wipe of everything in it? I don't know what browser you use so I can't tell you HOW to erase all the data but you can do it with a lot of them.

Behind the avatar, eh?.... Alright... I had something massively long written... but, I'll sum it up. Use to be Lavaliere Resident, Name became sour after leaving the MLP;FIM fandom due to it's toxicity and an exboyfriend. Didn't really become active again till talk of name changes came up and jumped on it once I came up with a name that rolls smoothly off the tongue with a sense of whimsical melancholy. I'm autistic with a dash of dyslexia in both spelling/grammar and verbal, it's frustrating to say the least, I'm also an insomniac which has always been a thing since I was a child due to the whole brain wiring not like everyone elses thing. I'm a writer, nothing really published yet but I'm working on a compilation of erotic shorts, first one is based off a personal experience but with how I have it written it won't be viewed that way.. it's been good therapy for me. I actually use to be here on SL a long time ago, but that was when I was a minor and the grids were split, us home-schooled kids who were given a computer a computer to keep them from being annoying to their family.... But, with time also went the account. it was back when you can have a free account, but if you deactivated it - it would cost 10USD$ to reactivate it. Never really had a privileged life, anything I got was always second hand, once one of my sister's had kids I got shoved aside and ignored till an event that left them in foster care to be adopted and me with PTSD... but that's a story for therapy that I'm still working through.

I had the shape, but not the OG skin I had gotten for it. I wasn't really going for an Asian type of look back then but I was at the time playing an elf. The skin I used was one I had laying around in my inventory, it was close enough to the tone I had back then. The face has gotten smaller and a little more mischievous looking over the years as I've decided to go with being a pixie character for RP sims that allowed it, I'm more commonly seen as a white bat when I'm not being human-esq. and yes.. the hair is recent, I had long since deleted the old hair I had but, this was a suitable look-alike to the flexi that I wore. I don't have any pictures from those days, lost them as I've swapped computers over the years. My earliest known pics are on a PC my first ex has, so here's a mock up of what I had! Oh, the one on the right was unedited. reasons being laziness.

Oh jesus... First thing I got in SL was a free box of furry items and avatars along with a bunch of freebie dresses and outfits that were sculpted and had flexi prims, i got those from Free Dove. The first thing I ever BOUGHT was a Dnz (I think that's the shops initials) rabbit avatar and some hair from Magika that was modifiable... I was part of the envious vip group then and had some decent clothes. (I still have and sometimes use the first AO i bought from Oracle. It was called.. Little vixen or something at the time.)

I use my home to just be able to change and unpack shtuff in peace.. That said.. I don't care, just don't get in the way of whatever I'm doing in my home. Become a nuisance and I'll have to eject you out and probably block you from ever coming back.

I've seen some pretty impressive bot scripting over the last couple of years when it comes to trying to get websites and shizz out to people.

I usually hang out in furry sims, but I have found a few hubs that have plenty of people actively chatting and voicing in them. It depends on the rating of the sim for what you are looking for, try looking for hub sims ( I think London soho or something like that is one. ) seeing as you are a premium memeber you could always join a group that's a theme orientated one like a group for the bellisseria home owners.

I'm planning to do it when I have a chance to. If you want I can let you know first hand how well it goes. Miss having a last name, and I do like some of what have come up, the last last name I ever had was Blooberry or something stupid like that.

Ahh.. I'll have to look into heads that work more with those sliders. I found the genus one to be lacking in that department. (Course all this is going to end up meaning finding a new skin later too lol)

That's more of what I'm going for actually, The listing of names people know. I don't have a particular style I'm going for, I want something that uses less common sliders like jowls in the chin tab to edit the face shape.

I own two Catwa heads and a Genus head, my heads are becoming impossible to shape right for me, and I can never get my Genus one to look just right either, with Genus still closed (as far as I know), Who would y'all reccomend? I plan to go through the stay at home group and see what's new later. edit BOM & Omega heads make my life easier. :3

Nah, I'd still consider this on topic. And that's understandable, I obviously lost everything I've had over the years, computer switchings, utter dying of my machines, then just not giving a truck and canceling accounts and uninstalling viewers. The memorable ones stick with you though.. If you got a good memory.
