Original v1 (aka pheonix and snowglobe v1) is no longer used especially since it is not SSA/SSB enabled. When SSA/SSB is rolled out (supposadly ont he 9th) those who use such viewers will be unable to view other avatars normally. FEAR NOT! There are still viewers that have replicated the v1 interface exactly. Singularity is one (it's actually v2 modified to look and feel like v1) and cool vl. Firestorm has a theme that replicates the v1 feel as well. You may wish to look into those options if you want to see thigns properly but still like v1. Otherwise I would just "upgrade" to v2/3 it takes some getting used to but once you do IMO it's actually more efficiently setup.

Another alternative is gimp which is a free software equivalent to photoshop and it does all the same thign as well

I'm guessing by gang they mean likea group of greifers? That's the closest equivalent in sl I can think of.

are you really looking for a developer or just a designer? What are you looking for? A CMS yyou can edit yourself? are you looking for just a page in html and css? A developer will be much more expensive to hire as they know backend code it's much more complex then design and html but is what you'll need if you want a content managment system. But if your just looking for a nice site with static info a designer would be cheaper. you're not really clear on what you want and I think you'd have a better time if you at least stated a general idea of what your looking for.

there really is no way through the viewer to make it true BW. The viewer comes close though but very comic book looking not like a traditional BW photo. I did mine as a custom setting. The photos below were taken in a BW sim in BW clothing but obnviousally the skin was in color and I was wearing some color. Results will vary on sims that are color though. custom windlight ex1 custom setting bw 2

It took them three days and a lot of communication between us, but it was finally fixed. it sounds to me that you are going to have to ask for help as well. Just be sure to use the official viewer and make sure the same things are happening with it. They will only give support to their own...even if it is really an account issue rather than a viewer issue. Good Luck! I hope my post helps. Unfortunatly if this is the case that mean OP will HAVE TO HAVE a premium account or LL will outright refuse to help him. IMO it's incredably messed up that LL does this int he case of serverside issues but it is the way it is. There is a jira suggesting they should change this can't remember the URL though or i'd post it.

If he doesnt have tons, he may indeed browse here and open the one he suspect that can be the right one. But this ONLY if the box "save my ims on harddrive" is checked in preference menu... Otherwise... im afraid, its lost forever :smileywink: Edit : clarification : Username is the name you gave to your computer (or if you have several users session for this comp, the name of the one you are currently using) and (avatarname) is indeed the name of your avi. If you have several alts, you may see several folders with the name of each one. so select the one with the name of the avatar who recieved the im that you are looking for. not nessicarily do you need to check a box. Firestorm does this automatically at least as far as I've seen. It has always stored my chats and I never checked the box for it.

July 9th is the current set date for the switch to SSB(now SSA) and you won't be able to see anyone load properly after this point with imprudence. If you like V1 interface Coolvl or Singularity might be a good choice for you. Also It ink they allow multiple viewers.

Both my parents believe in alternative ways to treat illnesses (nothing wacky or "out there"). My mother has been vegetarian for the last 20 years. My father was already in good health otherwise prior to his cancer dx and he attributes that to a combination of his lifestyle as well as the vitamin supplements he took regularly. When he began chemo my father told his oncologist the supplements he was taking. The oncologist replied: "Whatever you're doing, keep on doing it - it seems to be helping." His Ear/Nose/Throat Dr. said the same. Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater, eh? ETA: On my father's 80th birthday he went skydiving. It's wonderful that it worked for your father but I still HIGHLY suggest not perscribing ANYTHING to anyone over SL. Someone doing there own research is fine and there's nothing wrong with it. I think the fact that you think vitamin C cures cold (which is like the chicken soup cures colds wives tale) says a lot about weither you're in a place to prescribe people medication. Studies show it has little to no effect on treating the common cold. go ahead google it. Yes Meications prescribed by doctors Have side effects and a doctor has years of training to know the likely hood of those side effects happeniing. Do they still sometimes happen? Of course. But by having medical knowledge on it you can reduce the chances of it. Having none and prescribing something? It's like taking a shot in the dark and hoping it lands. Sometimes it will sometimes it WILL KILL SOMEONE and you literally have no idea which will happen! I suppose my question is do you want to be legally liable for that? Because by prescribing anything or suggesting anyone take ANYTHING you are.

I don't think you can fix the inventory thing you just have to wait for the beta grid to update it's database. I think it just takes a snapshot of your inventory every so often. I think it's an interesting concept but it looks like it has two issues. 1. that circle around you seems awefully small. It'll suck for heavier people (like me...though I am dieting soo lolz) and I think even smaller people will find it restrcitive. 2. No matter what they do it's going to be a large contraption in general. I think a lot of people won't be able to fit it. I live in a small one room apartment I know for a fact I could never fit that. 3. While gaming I question weither people WANT to be moving or not. Call it lazy I know and the excersise would hurt no one but I think when most people game the like to relax (though I suppose thepopularaty of xbox Knect could be proving me wrong here) That said I think it's an interesting idea. It would add a layer of realism I suppose. I just honestly can't see it taking of due to the three things I mentioned earlier. Now the oculus rift. I can almost see becoming popular if enough games supported it simply because it's compact and anyone of any size could use it.

I think llsetcameraparems changes your camera setting for you to a set point. I don't think it will help you much TBH unless you know where yo u want your camera to be in the first place. I think you may be having a bit of trouble clearly saying what you needin english so perhaps also post this in the forum for your native language? They might no the answer and you may have an easier time explaining what you want to them
