    I do a lot of online courses anyway for my RL job, and just to better myself. This past week has been hard as I couldn't go past the garden gate due to the 10 day isolation period required by law. During the "normal (?)" lockdown I still enjoy putting my boots on and going for a 10-12 mile hike o'er hill and dale. ^^

    och have NO fear, Sl is FULL of rezz zones that are private and you can rezz to your heart's content if it's just a few shopping bags you need to rezz, try this http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Intrepide/188/139/23 it's a linden rezz zone with a15 minute return timer.

    1) No idea, perhaps software needs to enquire to a new source..................... 2) see above 3) it's Oz's birthday 4) I daresay they have If you recall the days before Ebbe, won't mention the dude's name, but you'd recall how zero information flowed to the user base. Since Ebbe, we have various in-world groups that provide info as much as they can, blog posts when there are outages, or updates promised etc. Even some Linden staff providing updates/info/coffee machine status on the forums - just saying at least Oz took the time to answer on this thread @Patch Linden @Tommy Linden

    These past 10 day I've had to isolate in Real Life due to a colleague at RL work testing positive (who has thankfully made a 100% recovery). Has anyone else been driven bananas by having to isolate? I figured I was lucky as I have my exercise bike which has been pounded an average of 4 hours a day, and Second Life which I was on an average on 12 hours daily. so, it got me wondering besides when is it Patch's and Tommy's birthdays, but has anyone else seen Second Life as a true aid to isolation in Real Life? disclaimer: my forum block list currently stands at 8 1/2 pages so I *will* only see worthwhile responses.

    I have found the best places/ways to meet new people is random places. I've encountered so many lovely people on my SL travels of the mainland I lost count, truly. I might meet a random person as I ride past on my turbo powered toilet tricycle, and exchange a random greeting that piques someone's interest, such things as "hey I bet you can't put a fruit pastille in your mouth without reciting happy birthday in Latin". I've met many a new friend by taking the random approach.

    oh I had pondered that, but there's the whole issue of a) naming and shaming that Governance would react to, and b) the same people i referred too in reports about my posts. So I can't post it

    I can only suggest you contact support, as they are the only ones who can help you on this. If there has been a genuine mistake over your ability to enter Skill Gaming Region, then Support will be only too happy to help you resolve it (based on my Personal experience with Support).

    not really it's the same people crying, the same people whining, or the same people spamming everything and anything under the sun, except actual helpful answers. Just the type of stuff I'd not sooner have to read.
