  1. here you go: hildegarde green book quest (look for, and read cover of green book) http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Hildegarde/67/193/42, on lothari picture of a mural with a moon - touch the moon , on gisela pink flower at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Gisela/140/125/23, and on Adelais at the bottom of the stairs say Pleiades
  2. There's a hidden quest there too ^^
  3. I had it. Like the Flu. I recovered. Now i just spent my morning off with a doodah stuck in my arm donating blood plasma (ie donating antibodies). My arm aches. Still, I count my blessings my symptoms were just like the Flu.
  4. If anyone's interested, here are the "secret" areas on the old Linden Homes Continents: Underground Temple (click wall) http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Kolbird/173/106/39 Secret underground chamber http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Threesun/64/112/38 underground hangout http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Blendard/102/140/29 Linden/Mole Humour (read plaque) http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Budsic/144/126/38 underground cave, click on the ground to open the secret passage http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Goffs/63/110/38 underground tunnel http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Calico/98/140/29 underground cavern, at cape ekim http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Cape Ekim/17/182/27 From the landing site, there are 2 options: 1) Cheat, and use a tiny avi, and walk over the rocks to fall in a tiny gap 2) Head to the lighthouse in the NE corner, and head down the staircase until you come to a solid wall. At this point, look for the "seashell" on the wall, and click it to open the secret door (there is another on the other side) Follow the secret passageway back along until you enter the caves, you come to a locked door with a combination lock - the lock is very difficult to line up so the suggestion is to cam to the other side of the door to use the button there, or sit on one of the thrones. When you are inside the secret cavern, there is another secret passageway., look for the green panel on the floor at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Cape Ekim/168/86/21 and click on the floor in the water. Go down the stairs to the skeleton and click on his briefcase
  5. cape ekim, go to the lighthouse, lowest level , look for the seashell on the wall. enjoy.
  6. most linden water sims have a small rezz zone in them, to allow you to rezz a boat.
  7. Ardy, Let me make a heart filled statement - thank you for speaking your common sense.
  8. This is why support should run 24/7 (and Governance too which is one of the reason I keep bugging Tommy)
  9. Just seems a bit pointless to post a thread complaining over stuff that already has a solution is all 😏
  10. Why not just go to the Developer meeting with Simon Oz and Rider - then you can ask your questions. As regards to information sharing, personally I think it's the best it's ever been. We have in-world user groups where you can attend in person and ask questions, some Lindens such as Patch and Oz often post on here to answer queries. If there's a big outage we often get a blog post from them so people know. *Maybe* whatever they're doing is just something boring, or something to improve security.
  11. It'd be a shame if the "old" Linden homes went, there are a LOT of secret areas on them, if you take the time to explore.
  12. @Patch Linden @Ebbe Linden @Tommy Linden @Brett Linden @Derrick Linden This would be a good topic for any future Town Hall meeting, the hours that support are accessible for urgent stuff. With SL's user base being all over the world, having 24/7 access to Support would be ideal.
  13. @Tommy Linden @Patch Linden @Ebbe Linden it's still showing blank, Please could we have an update? it's been about a month since I posted, and I daresay I'm not the only landowner who has stuff to bring up with Governance, I know a friend of mine reached out to you about issues but those are still ongoing. cheers.
  14. I do a lot of events at my sim, with large prizes of l$. One thing I do notice is a LOT of new avatars, all with NPIOF entering my events, this is how they get l$ to be able to buy stuff.
  15. @Tommy Linden @Kristin Linden @Patch Linden any useful help/advice on HOW to report spam like this to Governance? ie WHICH category?
  16. Just do what I do, and many others do, as per the standard Governance advice - mute those who just try to hijack your thread, you'll feel a lot better.

  18. The smack heads outside in street who think they just saw Batman oO
  19. on a side note, back in 2019 I spent about 8 months mapping secret/hidden areas on Linden Owned land, some of which gave prizes out. My Easter Egg project, was fun to do too!.
  20. I've used Voodoo products for over 6 years and never had an issue, their security device has *never* triggered my media filter, at ANY place that uses it. So no, it doesn't use the "media exploit". If you want to see for yourselves visit my sim Mystery Caye with your filter set to on, you'll only see my 80's stream. In terms of "IP logging" for a sploder it's determined by each individual sploder owner whether to use this setting or not, in order to stop a person using a billion alts to "game the system". And the Sploder owner does NOT see any personal info. One thing that Is important to know about the sploders: when a person clicks the sploder to enter, and the "verify" function is in use, then they get a CLEAR warning message that "clicking verify WILL log your IP address", in various languages. This puts the choice whether to enter or not FIRMLY in the hands of the user. So hardly "IP farming" when the user is prompted to make a CLEAR and INFORMED decision. So yes GDPR compliant too - as the user has to give CLEAR consent to enter.
  21. Just me and my daft sense of humour eyeye - I tend to wish pretty much everyone I encounter a happy birthday.
  22. I had my PC, Second Life, subscription TV, exercise bike, video calling facilities, ebooks, and my own reflection in the mirror to keep me busy, but still, it was far harder than I had imagined. There's only so much TV you can watch before you crave a brisk hike on the hills if you're used to it.
