  1. Inactive or canceled accounts As long as you're in good standing with Linden Lab (not delinquent with billing or otherwise in violation of the Community Standards and Terms of Service) your Second Life account can remain inactive indefinitely. This means that your avatar and inventory will continue to be stored on the Second Life servers Quote from : http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Accounts-overview/ta-p/700019#Section_.3.1 .
  2. One thing I know is that if you don't have PIOF or PIU status and haven't completed the IP tutorial, you can't list mesh items on the MP. Check your Mesh Upload Status here: https://secondlife.com/my/account/ip/index.php?lang=en-US

Koltari wrote: Though still quite impossible to keep track of what was refunded and what was charged :catsurprised: I use order# stated on my Transaction History (https://secondlife.com/my/account/transactions.php?lang=en-US) as a clue to find what subscription they charged or refunded for on My order history page (https://marketplace.secondlife.com/orders) on MP. Today I noticed I was charged for a subscription they failed to deliver. I guess I'll have to file a support case if it's not refunded within a few days.
  4. That's quite normal. Has been always like that but it doesn't happen to all the stores. As for my store, all the images are shown within that floater window when you click them to zoom, but for some stores what you described happens.
  5. You're welcome. Yes, what you mentioned is a know issue reported by not a few people, but we as users have no idea about what's going on, so we have to wait for Lindens' announcement about the issue.
  6. A few years ago gamble was banned from SL. For further info, please see the following links: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:policy_Regarding_Wagering_in_Second_Life http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Wagering_Games_FAQ http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:skill_Game_Compliance There are some skill games you can play with your lindens like zyngo, deal to name a few. There are more but I can't recall them right now. Anyway if you search in-world for "game", you will find lots of places where you can enjoy those games. As to treasure hunts, you can see what hunts are currently going on by searching destination guide for events if I remember right. How they work? Depends on the hunt, in some hunts you are looking for some hunt object hidden somewhere in the stores which are participating in the hunt and inside the hunt object you find the gifts from the store and a LM to next location so you use the LM to go to next store and repeat that till completing all the stores.
  7. If they are mesh clothes, I read some people reporting that issue, ie their viewer crashes when they enter into edit mode. Someone suggests they update their video card drivers.
  8. Yes, you can use the built-in browser freely to browse websites (when I use that browser for that purpose, first I have to open http://google.com to find where I want to access though), but if you use your usual browser, you could browse more freely.
  9. Not sure but I don't think that bridge URL thingie has anything to do with merchant outbox. That would be more relevant to Firestorm. As to your issue about merchant outbox, the following JIRA is where you should add your comment, vote and watch if you are on Windows. https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-4660
  10. It seems that you cannot right now. Have a look at the following thread. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Linden-Dollars-L/why-not-support-prepaid-cards/qaq-p/1452343
  11. Yes, so if the seller wants to deliver their items boxed, they have to edit that information on the manage listing page. There are check boxes on edit item listing page of each listing like below : Usage Requirements: ◎None ○Unpacking ○Land □Wearable
  12. I suspect that's because you have not removed magic boxes(registered servers) from magicbox status page (https://www.xstreetsl.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=adminservers). It may take a few days for the status to update automatically.
  13. I used to get linden dollars by playing free games like zyngo (you have to win, though), camping (which was mentioned by Knowl as you can park your avatar, and go watch television in the other room while your avatar makes L$), participating in themed contests held by clubs or participating in photo contests held by clothing stores/shopping malls (and you have to win) and so on. So search in world for keywords like camp, free game, contest, and you may be able to find some I guess. But like Rolig said, keep in mind they are not cost-effective.
  14. Arabella Swashbuckler wrote: it says unavailable items=delivery magic box..ive deleted my boxes.did what it said on the video tutorial, and some got listed ok for DD,but a load got left in the inport faliure log {which ,again, idk how to remove that list} The reason why it says unavailable items=delivery magic box would be because you've deleted your magic boxes and their corresponding DD items failed to be imported via merchant outbox, therefore the system can't find objects to associate with those listings. So you have to upload them again via merchant outbox so that they will be automatically associated with those unavailable listings on your manage listing page on the MP website. As to the import failure log, I have no idea about how to remove it, either. I just left it as it is.
  15. Re-activating a canceled account If you have cancelled your account, you may be able to restore it, depending on how long ago it was cancelled. There is a US$9.95 reactivation fee for restoring an account. Warning: Even if your account is restored, the associated inventory, land, and Linden dollar balance may be unrecoverable. To start the process: Open a support case. Under What type of problem are you having? choose Account Issue. Choose Reactivate an old account. Enter the required information Click Submit. Quote from : http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Accounts-overview/ta-p/700019#Section_.5.2 Not sure if you can cancel the request. Anyway you should open a support case immediately.
  16. My wild guess is the body co - Blaze. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Pekka-Steve-Shape-the-body-co-blaze/2492238 The highlights on the cheeks, nose and forehead and the eyebrows shape look similar. The avatar in the pic may be wearing an eyeliner tattoo layer, not sure though.
  17. Yeah, sequin fabric or any other glittering fabric for that matter just doesn't look right with default windlight setting.
  18. Maybe those items were flagged and removed by LL. You have to file a support case so you know why they were removed and can safely list them. See the following link. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Managing-your-Marketplace-store/ta-p/700191#Section_.4.2
  19. Maybe because the version of the Phoenix viewer you are using is incompatible with mesh? Try the latest version.
  20. Whether you look like a cloud to other people also depends on thier environment. You look fine to some people, but may look like a cloud to others.
  21. Looks like Kirio hair from sadistic hacker with forelock hair extension which was given away as their group gift. http://thirst-bloodlines.blogspot.jp/2011/02/sh-kirio1_24.html
  22. You can bulk-edit inactive listings to activate. Click the checkboxes in the leftmost column for the inactive listings you want to activate. Tip: If you have a big inventory and want to view or select more items at once, change Items per page to a higher number, like 100. Below, next to Modify selected items, choose List and click Go. The page refreshes with a confirmation message.
  23. So did you forget the PW for your second avi? If you know your username but have forgotten your password, go to the password recovery page. Enter your username and click Send Instructions to have instructions on how to create a new password sent to the email address connected to the account . You'll need to answer the security question you chose when creating your Second Life account. Be sure to check your junk mail/spam folder. If you can't recall the answer to your security question, just contact Customer Support, preferably by opening a support case. You'll be asked to verify your identity and, working together, we can reset your security question. 24. There is no way at the moment. There are JIRAs : https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-2788 https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-2938
