  1. How lovely to hear your good news. Hard work and determination certainly paid off! I'm afraid I have no recommendations for group gifts as I tend to reuse old furniture, picking up a few interesting oddities on reduced-cost days, for which I receive notices from the groups !!Cosmopolitan Club & Lounge!! (yes, lots of exclamation marks) and Second Life Syndicate. There may be many items in their lists that will not be at all relevant but you might find some gems included.
  2. The first time I felt an earthquake was in an upstairs office. Everyone sat there looking amazed, and I confess I quite enjoyed it; it was a bit like being on a boat. Today I woke up with a nagging pain in my side over the site of some major replumbing a decade ago. I'm telling myself it's probably just a bit inflamed and the connections haven't come loose, because by this time of day I'd be in serious pain, I think. The toothache has subsided quite a bit for some reason, which makes me think my body is amazing at trying to repair itself. Other than that I'm just annoyed at letting myself be rattled in the forum. It might be time for a break.
  3. That is someone saying "Yeah, I'm edgy! What are you gonna do about it?" Or whatever these egoistic little sh*tes say these days.
  4. I'm falling from the sky to take a look. Silly me, tping from a skybox. Eep.
  5. @Nika Talaj If you don't mind graffiti then you wouldn't mind living next door to it. If I were to land next door to a house like that I'd abandon sharpish.
  6. Peeve parking for fun I have this image in my mind of what a Peeve looks like; a cross between a weasel and a pig. It could drive.
  7. Is there anything we can do to help?
  8. Most of my houses are called gcngfdhtdj because I don't keep them long enough to give them a proper name.
  9. I couldn't resist posting another, as I was reminded of a favourite harpsichord piece of mine; it always cheers me up.
  10. I wish there were a 'Love' button, as I'm a fan of this old show. Harpsichords were very popular in the '60s (in case you weren't around then). Please don't think any less of your choices; I've just lived a long time and listened to a huge amount of music.
  11. I'm old enough that I actually forget how old I am now. I have to work it out, and even then double check with a calculator. Today I'm annoyed with myself for spending so much time on the GoH. I mean, really, frittering away my time at my age. Whatever that is.
  12. I'm still trying to get a Victorian home with a sea/water view, as I dislike being landlocked, but when I get there I'd be pleased to join a like-minded community. If there isn't one, perhaps we might collaborate in establishing one?
  13. I got that one, but let it go. Unfortunately the water is separated from the house by a very high hill so I can't see it. Oh well.
  14. Ooh, you mean I could earn money just by saying no?
