  1. Well, I don't know. Garnet isn't very tall, and she's blonde, and quite pretty, but she rarely gets a dance offer even when dressed beautifully. Even then it's usually that weirdo who offers within a second of arriving.
  2. The dentist who did this damage told me I'd have to go to hospital to get it fixed but it's a good suggestion to find out where they are.
  3. I'm grumpy as I have a mild toothache that is likely going to get worse. It can't be treated locally as it's half-broken-off and is rotting in the gum. I really don't want to go to hospital because they're greatly overburdened in the UK but it's inevitable. Bother.
  4. You need to provide evidence that this hub (whatever that might mean) exists or existed. Bloodlines approval (by which I mean that of the creators of the game) was never given to any such scheme; explain what exactly you mean. I can't say I expect much truth in your response, given that, if you stand by your comments in this thread, you have been proven a liar, and I must say you are becoming tedious in your efforts to be amusing.
  5. Yes, Bloodlines is still active, though in smaller numbers. Your old landmarks might work but just search for Bloodlines on the Map and you'll find the regions. If you like new challenges there's an internal set of games now called Legends. I've only just begun it but as far as I know it doesn't involve non-players at all.
  6. Have I got to go through this all over again? I took great pains to explain in another recent topic an alternative view - one that comes from a Bloodlines player, not a spectator rehashing the problems of years ago, but I really have no time or energy at present to give the whole response. I'll say this though: Bloodlines is not a pyramid scheme; that is a misuse of the term. It is at its heart like many other games in that it encourages a player to gain points in order to rise in status (which mostly only other players will see), but that isn't compulsory. The silent games are to me much more sinister in that the target has no say in what happens. It's enough for a player to stand near them to collect their data. That's about as much as I know about them or care to know.
  7. Yes, that's hard when your current job has ground you down.
  8. It's never crossed my mind to delete this account in order to start another. I keep this account because it has my history, my oldest friends, and my character (as well as all the things, and those were an afterthought just now). Why should I care what others do? I wouldn't say if I knew someone who had because it's their business not anyone else's. My advice is to create an alt and use only that for a while, not visiting old haunts, not contacting anyone you know, and trying to be a different person. Then make up your mind. [Edit] For some reason your first paragraph wasn't visible when I posted, but I've no changes to make to what I said.
  9. I'm sure you've thought of this but would changing employers now have any unwelcome effects upon your finances?
  10. @Raspberry Crystal Hmm, they're soon going to hit some private islands to the East, so perhaps this is the land equivalent of a snow plough?
  11. Bless. A week old with no money and you did all that?
