I have a different feeling about the term globalization. To me it means the homogenisation of nations to suit the interests of global corporations. So, bad news. The good news is that Second Life is still so heavily US-centric that it can't function efficiently as an arm of those corporations. There's all the difference in the world between free communication and enforced sameness.
