Sorry for the delay in response! I've seen quite a bit of chatter coming back from over the weekend regarding 3.5 and some also regarding 3.6. Importantly these are optional. Our intent is to not normally require inspection, review and auditing of content. What we are setting up for, and as I've mentioned previously are larger more beneficial products and programs to come. I've said there is a large piece of context or part of the overall puzzle to this everyone is missing because we simply haven't released that information yet, it will be coming out very soon. I want to remind again, that this entire project is aimed specifically at new users coming to Second Life. I have alluded to a new way for users to engage with creating avatars. We may see a future where we could allow Resident content creators to have content within a tool that new users will have access to, along with being included in Linden shopping, on-boarding or event initiatives.

As you may have seen in past discussions, Linden Lab is nearing completion of the first phase of one of our New User Experience projects - new mesh starter avatars. Under the “Senra” brand, these two mesh bodies and heads will be named Blake and Jamie. Blake and Jamie will be replacing the previous iterations of starter avatars to give new users a better beginner experience, with the ability to customize their avatar and create their own unique look. In preparation for the initial rollout, we are opening applications for the developer kit to content creators. This is an incredible opportunity for content creators to take their artistic ventures to our newest users. Whether you specialize in fashion, accessories, animations, or any other form of virtual content, by incorporating the Senra brand into your creative arsenal, you can explore new horizons, introduce innovative products, and cater to a growing market of new Second Life users who are embracing their new mesh bodies. Yep! I remember kid me having seen the two always advertised together... Still are in many places. Today as adult me I drive up through that area like Clark Griswold in European Vacation and replace "Look kids, Big Ben... Parliament!" with "Oh look, See Rock City.... Ruby Falls!" for every sign I see.

I am going to vehemently disagree with you. This project is about control of the new user experience. Allowing for total and free control on content in a dismally confusing system of choices and options that can either hurt or destroy the user experience is not one we will promote. We want to protect an untrained user from the pitfalls as such. Full stop.

Some of you saw what will be released. Some of you have seen my confirmation earlier about some components of this. This is a multi-phase project. We are already working on Phase II content production with even more options and updates planned to what will come out with phase I. Please remember, we have not officially released anything, we put it on AGNI briefly to test something, for now it's gone. The target audience for the Senra avatar is brand new users to Second Life. There is a significant component to this that will be part of the supporting system to enable these avatars that no one has seen. A missing key piece of context everyone lacks insight on. Devkits and the application process to acquire one will be released imminently. I can confirm that very well-known content creators (avatar body, head, hair, clothing) came on board with us, as Moles, to work on this project - they are watching your feedback, please keep it human and civil.

They work with BOM universal layers. If you have transparency on one of the channels, the nails will become transparent.

We did not design the feet for use with "high heels". Remember, these are for new users, they don't even know how to change shoes yet! 😁 We will either tackle that later, perhaps on another body, or leave it to the creator community to come up with something cool!

We did not design them to look like the canal/river boats, they are more like the modern flotillas of house boats abroad. We used a good bit of reference material that my Husband took as he is from the Netherlands. Like every theme out there, they came from and took inspiration from something, somewhere and the arguments of one way or another, one country over the other are tiresome and worn out.

Ranch is ranch.

We have a type of Dutch home, they float on water, there is 8 of them. That is where the design and inspiration for houseboats came from. Thousand Island, Blue Cheese, Balsamic Vinegarette ... could be any of the next themes.

“Good things come to those who wait.” We always used to say that down on the ranch. Speaking of which… Introducing our new Linden Homes theme, Ranch! The all new Ranch theme features country style Ranch homes in multiple sizes and open floor plans on 2048m2 parcels. It is a beautiful rural area with gravel roads, split rail fences, windmills, silos, and stunning fields of wildflowers. More land means more land impact. Previous themes have 351 or 175 LI per parcel. These have a whopping 703! Plus a new theme means a new content pack, with wildflowers, hay bales, and such. Speaking of ‘plus’, please note that these homes are only available if you are a Premium Plus member. Additionally, due to high demand at initial launch, Premium Plus selection of specific Ranch homes will not be available until July 10, 2023.

I have assisted you in world directly when I was a support agent several times, that had to be post 2007 because that's when I started. We crossed paths not long ago in a Linden Homes region. You said "Hi". I said "Hi". I felt shy so I ran off. I then crossed paths with you again at Fantasy Faire. I guess you don't remember. 💔
