  1. I'm here every day. I'm in world as much, sometime more and at really odd hours beyond my normal work day. It's a big world, I meet lots of folks when they see me. It is super busy times right now! Lots of projects going on, we're getting ready for a significant milestone, and preparing a very large celebration with SL20B. It isn't fair to characterize us a large company. We don't have unlimited resources despite our best hopes and wishes. We're actually a fairly compact company and I'm proud of all of the accomplishments we achieve as a team.
  2. Come one! Come all! Come down to the Victorian Funfair at Merrymount! PLAY the games based on actual games popular in Victorian times and WIN prizes! DISCOVER your future in the fortune teller’s tent! EXPLORE on an old fashioned big wheeled penny farthing bike. EAT in the beautiful greenhouse inspired by Sefton Park Palm house in Liverpool UK (originally built in 1896). RIDE the rides at the Funfair if you dare! (Maybe don’t ride the rides just after eating) PARTY in the gardens outside the greenhouse amongst the geese, ducks, songbirds, rabbits, peacocks and chupacabras! (What? The chupacabras escaped? Hmm, that’s probably for the best anyway.) Merrymount is the newest of our Bellisseria community regions and is made for our Victorian theme. Nestled just across from Carrollton Bay, Merrymount is a wonderful place for afternoon tea, a lazy Sunday playing games harkening back to the 1800’s, or taking in a nighttime fireworks display. Now open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Speaking of prizes, do we have some more new ones for you! The long awaited Open Floor Plan Victorian homes are finally finished and ready to go.* When they go live they will be updated on all of the Victorian theme regions and be available from the house controller mailbox. While you’re at the controller, those picking up a new content pack will notice something new as well. Victorian house number signs made specially for the Victorian theme, as well as Victorian wooden pull toys! *The roll out of the new homes will take some time to update all of the Victorian regions. Please be patient. In the meantime, you can preview the new open plan Victorians on the BelliDemo region: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/BelliDemo/170/35/22
  3. Announcing… The BelliHub! For months, we have been working behind the scenes to provide all of Bellisseria (and Second Life in general) a place where they can go to find information regarding Bellisseria, meet up with residents living in Bellisseria and have all of their questions answered. Today, we are pleased to release the BelliHub! BelliHub features: Information: Links to pages with details on things like how to get a home, Premium membership, using the land tools, the Bellisseria covenant, etc. Bellisseria Events Center: where members of the Bellisseria Performers Group can mark their events on the calendar for all to see. Demo Homes: Finally a place where residents can rez and walk around all of the currently released home themes and models. Hangout: A games area for residents to hang out and interact. The BelliHub and BelliDemo regions are a resource for everyone who wants to help prospective new Linden Home owners, or just hang out and discuss all things Bellisseria.
  4. I'll leave this out for a few more days in case anyone else wants to try and find it. 😁
  5. Now that this has passed (or has it?), did anyone figure out the message (it was in morse code)?
  6. Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip, that started from this tropic port aboard this tiny ship. The mate was a mighty sailing man, the skipper brave and sure... Skipper! See that huge hole in the side of the Minnow?! We seem to have lost something!
  7. As we announced earlier today, we have released a new feature that enables estate owners to disallow scripted agents from accessing regions within their estate. Many of you have requested that we come up with a solution to scripted agents and their presence within the Linden Homes regions of Bellisseria. Therefore, we have enabled this feature on the Bellisseria Linden Homes estate as well. Additionally, we have updated the covenant to reflect this change.
  8. Spring is around the corner and we have a surprise for you! Way back when the Sakura theme was built we planted the seeds of a special treat that only now is ready to blossom. You didn’t think we would make an entire theme named “Sakura '' without paying homage to the annual blooming of cherry trees did you? This is your chance to experience Hanami in Belliseria. Hanami (“flower viewing”) is the annual celebration across Japan of getting together with friends and having an outing under the blooming and falling cherry and plum blossoms, enjoying their transient beauty. The significance of cherry blossom time and hanami is the recognition that in nature as in life, beauty can often be fleeting. We all should endeavour to enjoy it to its fullest while we can. The cherry trees in the Community region of Shobu have begun their annual cycle coinciding with cherry blossom time in Japan. They transition in three week long stages: The last week of March the trees transform to a state with buds visible. The first week of April the buds will bloom. The second week of April the petals start to fall. On April 15th the trees return to their natural green state. We hope you all will enjoy the display with us and have your own hanami celebrations with your friends.
  9. Thank you @Teresa Firelight for creating this thread. The positive emotions along with taking the time, and investing the thoughtfulness and creativity everyone has responded with so far are heartwarming and inspirational to the team and I. Thank you, to all of you who have responded so far. ❤️
  10. I'm not sure there is much to demand. 😁 P+ already has their 2048sqm parcel tier allotment that can be used right now, that is what is included with the subscription. The house in a Linden Homes neighborhood is a (currently unavailable) option offered in parallel. You can have one or the other, but not both. 😉
  11. Support will be able to assist with your account, I had the team put a process in place to handle the requests, including refunds. I am not going to leak anything further on theme for now. I have put out plenty of teasers and there are many guesses here on the forums as to what it might be.
  12. As long as the outcome from the use of the font results in a free product, that would be within the spirit of the license and permissible. If the font is used to directly promote a commercial product, service or venture, that would be commercial use and not in line with the license.
  13. The team developing the Mobile app has zero cross-over resources to the content production team. That team is a group of Unity software developers. My team (the Moles) make content - and we're going as fast as we can.
  14. What I'm seeing here again, is the overboard negative tone I was speaking to. Bait and switch? A year? I announced premium plus during SLB June of last year. I mentioned we would try our very best to have a premium plus home option by the end of the year (another 6 months later) and warned it was aspirational. We are currently a few months beyond end of year by my calendar, not a full year since we said we would deliver homes, as that was never promised. We've apologized numerous times for being a bit late, but as I've always maintained we refuse to put something out that we do not feel is ready. As I've mentioned prior, please do contact support for a refund of your Premium Plus membership if you have one and feel you are not getting the value from it.
  15. A style and culture we implicitly did not chose.
  16. We will do a theme reveal - when we're done and ready. Sakura was an example of a recent successful theme reveal, that mountain backdrop was beautiful! 🙂 My most viewed photo from a theme reveal yet.
  17. This is still true and proven in what we track. The lifecycle of a new (premium) user in large, significant percentages start with a Linden Home, outgrow it and want more. They move on into the larger land ecosystem to mainland, private estates/rentals.
  18. I considered it, spent a lot of time analyzing the impact it would have on the greater land economy, which is something I have to account for in my wide purview of the entire grid. We could flip a switch tomorrow and bring it out, but we're not going to because it will cause economic harm and destabilization in areas that I have to think about. Maybe the new theme is more like 2 buck chuck, and not an expensive bottle of wine. Lets not set everyone's expectations a mile high in the sky. Like every other theme, it will not resonate with everyone, there will be negativity towards it and most will forget about all the features soon enough, including the ones we've added recently like new community centers and floor plans to the existing themes with even more coming. I've been intentionally quiet for a reason on a lot of things Linden Home related and it comes from the negativity and lack of constructive dialog in these forums and other places.
